Great place to bring your kids. It's Free to the public on the majority of the Museum. The only attraction that you will have to pay is the IMAX or a Temporary exhibit. It's well laid out and there were rarely any lines. It's a fantastic place if you want your kids to get an introduction to science and biology. Just be aware they do have an exhibit of reproduction. They make it fun but if you're not ready to have the conversation of the birds and the bees, just be aware.

Had a great time! They have a good selection of land and marine life to see and touch. I particularly liked the ecosystem displays they had. The food onsite maybe a bit pricey but there's nothing stopping you from bringing a home lunch as long as it's not eaten at exhibits.

Can't wait to see the full exhibit of flight/aerospace they're currentpy working on.

Our first time there and my 4 yr old was amazed at everything. I love how interactive all the showrooms are. The fishtanks were my favorite part. The kids playrooms were her favorite. We could have spent many more hours there but they closed at 5. Amazing experience.

Came on a weekend and enjoyed the experience. Plenty of items to explore inside, interactive play and very informative activites and information. Highly recommend for kids 4+ and people who are curious about life. Although free entry you need to pay for parking ($20). Definitely a great amenity for LA!

- Spacious restrooms and food court
- Free admission!
- Ample parking ($20)

This attraction is perfect for a fun-filled day trip. We highly recommend it!

This is a great museum to take your family to. Parking was $20 but entrance was free! There is a lot of exhibits for all ages. There’s also a cafeteria area that has food options for everyone. There’s also coffee here is great! Note that you aren’t allowed to take your drinks to the second floor which is where the exhibits are at. The museum was well kept and bathrooms were clean. Overall we had a great experience coming here!

I visited here with my boyfriend while we were visiting and staying with his parents for a vacation of 10 days. I didnt read there was a $20 parking fee, that was my bad. Regardless though, it was well worth the $20 for parking. There is a lot to see, a lot to do, and a lot to interact with. It was well worth it.

We really enjoyed seeing the animals, the aquariums, the journey of conception to full term display, the space shuttles and return pods from missions, even the touch tanks were really cool. There is so much to see.

We got there around 10 or 11, and didnt leave till they closed at 5. It took all that time to go through everything and see it all. Totally recommend to everyone of all ages.

We didn't get a chance to see the Rose Garden and the African American Museum, which was also included in the $20 parking fee. Thankfully the museums are compeletly free. Maybe we will catch it again next time we visit California.

Also, there is a gift shop and a small cafe for food if u get hungry. While it is slightly expensive, it was delicious and we were happy.

It is a great teaching tool to kiddos, and even for adults. My boyfriend wasn't well versed in how a woman's uterus looks and then adding a baby in it, so it amazed him at what a woman's body can do. I was amused as well, and I'm a woman, lol.

We did miss most of the 50ft Human Robot show, but from the few mins we caught, it looked cool.

Again, just all around recommend. So glad we visited, and we learned some new things along the way.
