Absolutely perfect experience! We booked two nights at the "Travelers Rest" cabin, booked a 1/2 day float trip with Buffalo River Outfitters. The cabin was clean and really cool. Has a little loft with two twin beds, nice bathroom/shower and all the things you would need in a kitchen. The float was perfect- check in was simple, they gave great instruction on what to do and what to expect from start to finish. All for the staff members were professional and courteous. Hats off to all the staff and the leadership at BRO! Exceptional experience!

Great little cabin. Just far enough away to be “away”. Very well appointed and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Even got to check in early. Also the employees at the store were well informed and way more helpful than the park rangers.

Seamless process to book, float, and stay with Buffalo River Outfitters. Excellent experience. Booked a 2-night stay at "Falling Water Lodge" and 1 canoe, 2 tandems, and a single kayak for a float trip down the Buffalo River with our family of 7. Super friendly, organized, and accommodating staff. Great location--close to outfitter and river yet still private. Very comfortable cabin. Needed charcoal for the grill so cooked burgers inside then made s'mores outdoors in the fire ring. Loved watching the lightning bugs at night and drinking coffee in the morning on the porch swing.

We took a family trip to Buffalo national river.. Buffalo River Outfitters is located at the entrance to tyler bend campground and was so convenient for us to have them shuffle the car to our kayak end point! The river is absolutely beautiful and we saw no one for 3 days.. such a magnificent wildlife experience and couldn't be happier with outfitters service and tips to make our river trip an experience to remember.

I love BRO! I exclusively book with them, even prior to COVID.

They now do a valet style service for float trips. You check in at the office and leave the keys for about $50, then drive to your start location. They’ll move your car to the end for you with some specific instructions based on your vehicle. It’s not like old school pick up and drop off via bus anymore, though they kept the vintage seats as seating around the building.

They have changing rooms and clean bathrooms. Probably the best part is how clean and decent these bathrooms stay all day long with lots of muddy folks in and out. All in the details. I also haven’t been swarmed by wasps around their facilities which is an often overlooked problem—good on them!

Canoes and kayaks are in decent if not pristine shape and pretty clean. Lifejackets are in great condition and don’t reek, another detail that’s often overlooked. Staff on and off river are knowledgeable and friendly.

I stayed in Paddler’s Paradise. Plenty of room for 5 people if one person wanted to sleep on the couch. 2 bedrooms with a completely open floor plan. Only the bathroom is private. Drip coffee maker, full fridge, full oven/stove. No dishwasher, no washer/dryer. Private, in the woods, nice back deck with porch swing and two rocking chairs. Back deck faces west. Not much of sunset views due to leaves still on the trees

Wonderful experience, everyone was extremely helpful, especially Brittany. We mistakenly didn't make our kayak reservations and she went out of her way to find us rentals for the next morning. The cabins were very clean, cozy, and refreshing. We can't wait to come back.
