Awesome park for kids of all ages and nice trail in the woods. They also have summer music in the park series which looks enjoyable.

My only concern were the two maintenance men, hawking and watching my kids and I were playing and when I took my children to the bathroom, and then choosing to drive their tractors (2 feet) right in front of park patrons sitting on benches when another route was safer for all. That alone would keep me from coming to this park if there was no one else around.

This place is beautiful. So much to do. Great place to take your kids or just go for a walk. This facility is very clean. The playground is well kept. They have a little fitness section with exercise equipment. The trail is well marked. And they have plenty of parking. They also have baseball and soccer fields. Definitely a good place to check out. Just remember. They lock the gate at 7.

We just visited during a warm winter day. I wish I thought of looking for it sooner. We took our son to the playground area. There are two sections that are fenced off. There’s also a walking path on the north side that takes you through a wooded area abeam a small stream.

As of September 28, 2020 the playground portion is open . The walking paths are open.

If you want a peaceful, serene, get back to nature experience, add this park to your "gotta go there" list. The trails are well maintained and easy for kids traverse or travel by shallow water through the winding creek bed. This park also offers multiple picnic spots with grills and ample green space for running around. As of today 9-1-2020, the playground is still closed due to covid.
The only negative to our adventure today was all the trash left behind by others; lots and lots of used diapers, old chip bags, and soda bottles. What a shame 😞

I enjoy going in the early mornings before it gets busy. They have a big playground for kids and picnic areas. The walking trail is my favorite part. It's just over a mile long. It has a beautiful creek that flows through the wooded area.

The park is good with play areas , picnic areas but the one big problem for elders is the lack of benches especially along the trail it’s not friendly for people who have knee problems. Another problem is the lack of garbage bins in the entire park which leads visitors to leave their own carrier bags hanging on fences like this one posted here. It’s not a bid expense to space out a couple benches along the trail walk so those who need to sit down after a while can do so . It could be much better but looks like a park that’s been ignored .
