I’ll always love this event because I could scour over antiques and knick knacks of all kinds all day hoping to find that one little thing you didn’t know you needed. Some years are better than others dependent on weather , selection of goods etc. so it’s hard to give a review. A lot of work goes into making this type of event happen and you can tell. The fields can get muddy quick during the summer event so make sure to be prepared.

This was the most disappointing show in years. It seems like some people are really getting greedy and spoiling the fun. Some people are charging $20 to park, and even some of the sub par fields are charging $10 admission. We had fun, but didn't leave with much at the end of the day. It's not worth it.

Was disappointed that so many of the good item venders were behind tall metal fences and require a $10 fee. If they want to sell their items then sell them to all. I didn’t feel it made sense, so by not paying, I saved a couple hundred dollars . If they feel that their items are that exclusive , maybe they should get their own location somewhere else. I’m sure glad my favorite store doesn’t charge me to shop with them.

First time going here (on a Saturday). Got in early and was expecting to pay $10 for parking. Enter the church area to park and find out it’s $20 Apparently they had a recent remodel and trying to recoup their spending. Fine, whatever. However the lady told me if I wanted to pay less, I could go park in the mud. Later that day, I see parking all over their lawn. 🙄

Place was neat to look around. I’m sure it changes every year, but I saw a lot of antique tools, furniture, clothes, records, glass/chinaware, silverware, beads/jewelry, coins, baseball cards, some DVDs…

Not many Pokémon cards, toys, beanie babies, books, video games.. Def more antique than it is thrift for anyone who is looking for some more recent vintage items.

I think the place could be organized a bit better (the real reason I took a star off). The website could do a better job at areas where parking may be available and a layout of where each vendor is (or at least a plat-like map that shows the layout of where a tent/store is). The layout was a bit confusing and I ended up in the same tent several times looking for new areas to explore.

There were porta-potties throughout and the one I went to had a hand washing station -where you pump the water out with your foot. I think I may have gotten the last bit of water cause little to nine came up for me. Feel bad for anyone who put soap on their hands first before finding out there’s no water for rinsing.

I didn’t see many food trucks, but I did see a hamburger was about $9. Water was $2 and I saw the town library selling it for $1.

Bring your own water and snacks and plenty of cash. Some people will take Venmo and I noticed my texts didn’t go through, so some weird cell phone dead areas.

Everything is just about over-priced… saw a 90s common Pokémon card being sold for $14 (which should be $1-$3 max). Maybe people will barter with you for higher priced and bigger items, but I didn’t have too much luck with the smaller items.

Def an experience; would go again to see if trends/goods have changed, but maybe not worth the 1hr drive for me.

Great flea market. It's almost like a festival due to scale of the place. The only negative is the Brimfield Acres North was the only place charging $5 / person for entry, I figured they must have some amazing stuff but there was only like 6 tents selling the same if not worse junk than other places. I'm sure if it wasn't for covid, there would be a lot of sellers and they can get away with charging for admission but you'd be wrong to think they have better stuff than other places. Stick to the Free places, you're not missing out.

Visited with my family in September 2021, and was very disappointed. The items were just as boring and plain as the vendors. It seems to me that this is one place living on its reputation, and the only big event draw to the area. Only reprieve was a good guy cleaning some bathrooms as an attendant and Jamaican, Vegan food. My advice, avoid places like this and visit a Savers instead.

We love this event. There are several vendors. Many willing to deal. This is our 6th year traveling from Ohio.
