The Braidwood Zoo was a fun little roadside attraction. The penned in animal sculptures were fun to check out. It doesn't cost anything to enjoy, so there's no reason not to stop in.
There is a building on site that seems to have restrooms. Although when we were there, the building was locked. So I don't know if there was anything inside besides the rest room.
You can also walk to/from the Polk-A-Dot Drive In which is basically across the street, steps away. The Polk-A-Dot has fun statues as well. Be careful crossing the street if you chose to walk. Just a fun little stop. It's kind of like two attractions in one stop.

Interesting little tourist attraction of animal sculptures that are assembled into what is called the 'Braidwood Zoo'. I believe they are sculptures from Jack Barker that used to live nearby who specialized in scrap metal art.
