One of the only stops on the way to Reno. Stop here for the bathroom and it has a pet area. Restroom is heated during the winter so its awesome! Great place to stretch, always clean.

Update on 10 June 2021. Once again stopped at the Bogard Rest Area. It was very clean and well maintained. It is a good place to have a picnic and you and your pets strch your legs. Easy of and on the Hwy.

It is always a good stop to stretch your legs and empty your bladder. It is always clean.

Always clean and well cared for, and compared to other rest areas I've been to up and down the West Coast it surprisingly had a nice picnic area as well as a nice size pet area to take your fur babies to 2hen 4heyve been couped up in the car for a long ride.. not to mention a Pretty nice place to let the kiddos run around fora bit to get a little energy out. Actually one of the best we've been to by far...

One of my favorite rest areas between Mount Shasta and Susanville. Clean rest room, very informative display panels and nice forest sceneries!

Beautiful rest area! Really clean, very organized and easy to get on and off the highway to use. It is in a high mountain setting and had snow on the ground when we visited mid April, but the weather was fantastic and the grounds are very well maintained.

This place is very pretty, but had no cell service . Was a good place to stop and walk around for my 30 minute break.

Well maintained and even have pay phones available if you need them. Nice to see a rest area on this stretch of road because there aren't many places to stop.

Yep, we always stop here for a moments rest or even for an overnight rest when going on a long haul. Bathrooms are almost always clean, soap is usually full and toilets flush. Air dryers blow cold tho and so is the water, so hands are frozen quite well after washing. There’s a pet section with running water to fill up a bowl, but no fenced area to let them run.
Plenty of longer parking to accommodate semi tractor and trailers or truck and trailer combos and a separate section for overnight guests.
