Awesome, must stop spot if you want the "Florida" experience. Only 30 - 45 minutes outside of Orlando is this fun experience, Airboat ride, gators, restaurant, bar, and tourist souvenir shop what more can you ask for? Fyi - Gator bites are actually really good! 🙂

Absolutely an amazing ride! Jay C was our Captain and he was super friendly and very knowledgeable! He knew how to ensure we had a great time! To top it off, you’re able to take a picture with a live gator after the ride! Very enjoyable experience! Thank you!!

Love this place!! Great food, stunning views of Lake Jessup, nice bar area, airboat rides are really cool! They also have Parrots and other birds! Highly recommend checking them out!!

There were quite a few gators out there ranging from 7 feet plus.
Our captain was very knowledgeable of Lake Jessup habitation and navigating the lake and finding the gators.
We all had fun.

I booked the next day's 10:30am tour at black hammock's website and paid an extra $5 for pictures with baby gator. When we arrived around 10:20am the next day, there was nobody to be found at the office. Waited for about 10mins, was able to check in at the gift shop register. But I noticed other guests who paid at the register without reservation paid much less than us (about $15 less for two people). I asked why, the lady said there was extra charge for reservations using the website. I was very upset and asked if she could cancel my reservation so I can purchase at the register again to save money. She said no.

I was already unhappy but went to board the boat coz it was close to 10:30am.But the guy at the boat said the first boat tour leaves at 11am. BUT our reservation on the website says 10:30am. We had other arrangement after the boat tour and we had to call and reschedule.

Finally at 11:10am, the boat left (40 mins after the reservation time).

When the tour was over, the guy went to get a baby gator and let all the guests go take pictures with the gator in hand. But I paid an extra $5 for picture with baby gator in my online reservation and none of the other guests paid for that. I was even more unhappy.

So in total we paid more than $20(2 people) than other guests for the same tour. And The tour was 40 mins later than the scheduled time so we had to reschedule the following activity.

Very unpleasant experience.

This was a fabulous suggestion from locals while we were visiting the Orlando area.
The boat ride just by itself is worth the price but when you see a bunch of alligators and incredible bird life, it’s just money well spent on a fun event

Had a great time and was worth the price. Had so much fun. Got soaked. Saw gators birds. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
