Big Sur Guides and Hiking were great! I was traveling alone and was nervous to go hiking by myself so I had reached out to them a couple months prior to my trip to see what kind of hikes they offered. Lesli was great and made recommendations based on where I was staying and my experience. Bryan was my guide and he was awesome! He knew so much about the history of the area, the redwoods, plant life… he taught me about poison oak and I’m grateful for that lesson! Highly recommend this team. They were really great!

My visit to Big Sur and Carmel were quite special because Lesli customized a beautiful hike in the redwood forrest followed by a relaxing picnic by the river (her secret location)! Lesli is so profesional, warm, enthusiastic and intimately familiar with the area. Our day started with a glorious scenic drive from Carmel to Big Sur narrated by Lesli. We then embarked on a beautiful hike in the forrest where we really got to soak up nature and the breathtaking redwood trees. After our hike, we enjoyed lunch by the river. On the way back, we stoped at a local beach and hiked a little to reach the top of a small cliff which gave us panoramic views of the beach and highway. The overall hike was leisurely with one semi steep climb. I’m not a hiker at all and I didn’t experience any discomfort or challenges. I truly enjoyed the experience! Definitely one of the highlights of all my vacations. I can’t wait to go back and customize another tour with Lesli. Top notch service! She will meet your individual needs and customize a tour that is perfect for you!

First off, I must say Bug Sur is better than I thought. It is so varied and HUGE.... it’s diffucult to see it all. Best thing I did was to join in on a tour with the guide service. It would take days...maybe weeks , to discover the special places and highlights of this coastal gem.... I saw many in one day. Most delightful way to spend a day. I highly recommend this company.
