This is the type of hotel I grew up with. U-shaped, 2-floors with doors opening to parking, a pool on the side (now filled in) and diner up front. It brought back happy memories. The room was spacious and clean but showing its age in many areas. The air conditioning was great as was the fridge. Beds were firm. Amenities were sparse and no coffee for the coffee maker, nor was there a hair dryer. High season price was comparable to other motels we stayed at on this trip some of which were better and some were not.

Admittedly a rather basic motel that is reminiscent of earlier days at much lower prices, but there are not lots of other options in the area for a large family. The positive sides: very comfortable beds, everything works fine, and a very nice manager. The air conditioning works well, although when we were there, it was not needed at night. What was particularly exciting for the family was to see a key deer walking right beside the motel.

The front desk staff was very courteous and helpful. Our room was clean and had some updates (paint, chairs, TV), but the overall condition of the property is old and needs lots of updating. Large older fridge on our room with no ice and a coffee maker, but no coffee supplies. The bed and pillows were clean and comfortable. The motel was overpriced for the location and property condition.

This is an old school Florida motel with a lovely little cafe/diner in front of the property. The staff is warm & friendly, and the rooms were immaculate, with very comfortable queen size beds & pillows. Very quiet even with the front facing US 1. ||Breakfast was really good, and the service excellent. More than reasonably priced as well, especially for the Keys.

This place is a diamond in the rough. One of the cheapest rooms available in the keys but it is very clean and the rooms have a beautiful blue/green paint scheme. Staff was extremely friendly and they helped us find some secret local spots that definitely improved our experience. All of them were smiling and very genuine down to earth people who congratulated us on our recent engagement.
The cafe is just regular breakfast food but what really amazed me was the service. I've eaten at restaurants all around the world and these people were so on the ball- this was probably the best wait staff I've had at any restaurant I've ever visited, period.

Dated rooms for sure, but clean and simple, which was all we needed for one night. No amenities, but we didn’t need that this trip, thankfully. The women at the front desk were so friendly and great. The full fridge was definitely a plus.

Clean and affordable. Hard to find this combination in the Keys. Staff is super friendly. Ample parking. Restaurant right there for convenience. No frills place but who needs them?. Beds are a little stiff but I would recommend this hotel.
