I see lots of poor reviews but I actually like this hotel. My room was quiet and cleaned every day. Simple room layout. Did have a 70s feel (orange). Issues: alarm clock was going off when I entered and some of the outlets barely hold their plugin... Thought it was unusual when I checked in and they told me "no destruction". Must be a problem here. Slight smell in hallway when i arrived but it was minimal... not bad. Will I come back? Yes definitely. Had a good overall experience. Thanks Team!

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in mid-June 2024.||||The hotel is in an odd location - it's behind and to the side of a 7-11, with a small strip of stores "in front of" it. And, as others have said, parking can be limited, so some people made their own spots. However, it's close to the highway and major roads, which is good.||||With that said...the hotel itself is fine. Check-in was pleasant and VERY quick. (No joke - I think the gentleman at the desk gave me my keys within 60 seconds.) The elevators were FAST. The room was pleasant - big windows, a desk, a couch, comfortable bed, nice bathroom, a microwave.||||Breakfast each morning was the usual for a BW: make-your-own waffles, various cereals and breads, some fruit and yogurt, and some hot food (eggs, meats, potatoes).||||Overall, I'd give it 4-4.5/5. If you're in the area and need a place to stay, it's a nice hotel.

Room was nice, but... Very noisy. A drummer beat on their drum all night. At 3:30 AM we finally got a room change. Missed the planned morning meeting. Unable to reach the hotel manager for several days which may account for the lack of action after calls to the front desk. Three or four hotel employees came to the room each with a different reason for the drummer's noise. One blamed the air conditioner...another blamed someone in a car parked at the gas station next door. Will not be staying in a Best Western again anytime soon.

Poor customer service. Stayed at hotel November 3rd thru 7th. Pool out of service, but pictured on hotel website. Chose hotel due to pool. Voiced concern at check in, but nothing done to accommodate us as guest. Then we did not have a microwave the entire stay, voiced concern to front desk and was told he would have a microwave delivered to our room. Never happened, we checked out and had to throw away food since no way to warm it up. Called BW Customer Care to voice concern after our stay. Manager told a lie, saying there was a microwave in room DURING our stay, which was not true. Had our case closed! Then I had to call back and reopen case, and still no accountability from hotel manager. VERY DISAPPOINTED, as we had stayed at this hotel in the past several times, but the brand and customer service has definitely gone down. WILL NOT be staying at this location anymore without an apology.

Bed was comfortable and room clean. Water in the shower did not transfer all to the showerhead and some leaked thru faucet. Hallway was not clean and it smelled. Hotel in an odd location and right next to highway. Amazing this place ends up costing $300/ night.

Same as prior review 2 months ago- one elevator was working, and it constantly got kinda stuck with each travel. Plus it was being used for both staff and guests; further adding to the wait time as some employees pretty much aggressively taking priority over the elevator instead of giving guests the preference. Why hasnโ€™t elevator been fixed?

The Hotel is very good, clean with fabulous staff. Ashanti was on reception, could not have given us a warmer welcome, and what a beautiful smile, very approachable and friendly. Close to Yale University, did you know you can park for free at Knights of Columbus about 10 mins walk from Yale Visitor center. Thankyou Ashanti for a wonderful stay.

This is an old run down hotel very doable to stay in no complaints I only I wonder how they have. A larger incidental hold of $200 dollars on your card but it would be returned majority of the time but if the OMNI or the west inn donโ€™t even charge that much and there 4/5 star hotels you should adjusts youโ€™re hold itโ€™s RIDICULOUS!

Not a bad place to stay. Staff is super friendly. Decent parking lot. The rooms are clean. The only downside is if you get a room on the side facing the highway you will hear the cars and trucks all night.
