What a beautiful space. My room was a single on the 5th floor. I had a nice view of Tonopah and was able to view a magnificent sunset. The lobby takes you back to the 1920's and you can almost see the elegant patrons sitting around the grand piano. My room was perfectly appointed, complete with coffee, microwave and mini fridge. The bathroom wasn't giant, but I was alone, so it didn't matter. The attention to detail throughout the hotel was lovely. I would gladly stay there again.

Beautiful historic hotel. The room was spacious. The bed was super comfortable and lots of pillows. There were extra towels and they were very soft. The room was so great that when we checked out we booked the exact room for our return trip. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. Beautiful front lobby with a nice adjacent coffee shop. We loved this hotel. I can't believe anyone could give this place a bad rating.

Myself and a friend stayed one night in February after a drive from Las Vegas, with a lunch stop at Rachel on Extraterrestrial Highway (Nevada State Route 375). ||Helpful and pleasant staff. |Historic interior and exterior. |Clean and well-maintained premises. |Free WiFi. |Lift to all floors. |Spacious room with two queen beds with en suite with shower-bath. Two TVs, a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, kettle. Free parking at rear. |Belvada Cafe next to Hotel Lobby. |Ate an evening meal at Hometown Pizza a short walk from the Belvada Hotel. ||Notes: In Tonopah also visited Mizpah Hotel across the road and went on a Clown Motel evening ghost tour with excellent guide Wanda.

We had a nice little suite on the fifth floor. Very clean, great bed and very quiet. My hat’s off to the Cline family ( of Cline Cellars in Sonoma County) for their impressive renovation of this building. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Do not stay here. They don't have anyone at the front desk on a Saturday night after 7pm and if you ask for a refund after being unable to check in they will call you a liar and state the desk had someone at it. Do yourself a favor and stay at the Best Western or Comfort Inn; both have good beds, clean rooms and free breakfast.

We stayed for just one night. The breakfast wasn’t free and they were out a lot of stuff, and I had no clue how to use the coffee machine in the room, and there was no service on the phones… but the rooms were very very comfortable and nice, so given we were just passing through it wasn’t bad. I think the main issue was just because we got there so late and then left so early, on a Sunday no less, so many things were closed in the area. It was very rustic and antique, which was nice.

I had a reservation at the Belvada Hotel but when I arrived around 7:30pm there was no one at the front desk. I walked around the lobby, ran into another couple who were also looking for a person and had found no one. Both myself and the couple then saw a sign semi hidden on the front desk saying to call a number to get checked in. Only problem was, neither of us had cell service (some kind of outage) so we couldn't call and there wasn't a phone at the desk. We ended up going across the street to see if there was a person at the sister hotel The Mizpah but there wasn't anyone at that front desk either. Both myself and the other folks had to go back down the road to the Best Western and hope they had a room.

Upon calling the hotel for assistance as I was unable to get checked in and so requested a refund, I was told I was a liar as they couldn't find me on their security footage nor was their front desk unmanned.

Location would be superb but the service is lacking. Save yourself the trouble and stay at the Best Western or the Comfort Inn. This place isn't worth the headache!

So, so many positive things to say about the Belvada but, in brief, the staff (everyone, but especially Mallory and David), the hotel and its history (as told to us by Mallory and David) were far beyond fantastic. Over the holidays, the lobby was decorated as if recreated from a Dickens novel and – as a previous reviewer mentioned – the reading room / bank vault, just off the lobby, could be our home away from home.

The sister property across the street, the Mizpah Hotel, was great but (IMO) the Belvada eclipses it.

Delighted with our stay and we’ll be back.
