atmosphere is "a place where Larry David would eat". whether that's a plus or minus is for you to decide. but the food was excellent. it was delicious, came out very quickly, and was a decently large portion. service was spectacular

I had the pleasure of going to Baywood for brunch with my Parents and some family friends. As we drove up I was thinking this is a really swank place. But once inside it was very warm and inviting and not to uppity.

I ordered the short rib hash, just wished there was a little bit more meat. The other picture is of the Belgian waffle with fried eggs and bacon. The prices were reasonable for brunch. The service was good.

It was cold when we went so we ate in the main dining room. The fall decorations were outside and throughout. I can only imagine what the holiday decorations would look like.

I hope to go back in the Spring and Summer to sit out on the patio. The view is AMAZING. I may also want to go back as the bar area was very warm and inviting.

They've done a great job making the outdoor veranda available year round! Best view around. We love coming here for special occasions or everyday happy hours. They have a daily special sheet that always has something great.

We had dinner the night after thanksgiving. Nice service and no complaints about the food but the atmosphere was so gloomy and cold! There really should have been piped in quiet music in the background to warm up the atmosphere.

Went here for Thanksgiving and was very dissatisfied with food and buffet selections. The food was like low end airline food especially for the price we paid.
However, neighbors and friends persuaded us to go again so we did. We were extremely glad we did. The food was delicious, I had the salmon and my husband the steak, dessert was yummy and the drinks were great. We ended up going with friends to celebrate pre-Christmas celebration.
We will go back again and next will post pictures of the dishes

Had a great meal at Baywood! We ate a little early for us, they only had a reservation at 5:30 pm so we took it. A wedding was going on below, but it didn't interfere with our dinner, which was outside on the veranda. Inside the decor was a little dark for our taste. You can tell this was not an original SoDel concept restaurant on the inside, but the food was great & service was good as well. If you like fun drinks, The Cucumber Basil Gimlet was fantastic! For our main course my husband & I got fish. He got the Salmon & I got the Mahi. Both were fresh & delicious. It's a little far for us since we live in Bethany near so many other So-Del restaurants but worth the drive for something different for date night. It feels like you are at a golf course or Country Club in Florida! It is pricey, but if you are foodies, this won't come as a surprise.

My wife & I decided to try this for Thanksgiving this year. Big mistake! Our server never showed up to get our drink orders,we had to stop a different wait staff to inquire. The food was subpar,turkey was dry,stuffing way too salty,green beans cold,Mac & cheese needed more cheese,finally had to ask the server at the table next to ours if he was our server,he was not very attentive to our needs,we definitely will not return!

Fine dining in Sussex county. Now excellently operated by the SolDel restaurant group. The food is not as good as it once was. Turkey at Thanksgiving was inedible, dry, tough and very chewy.
