This was my first time visiting and this place was SO fun. The actor’s makeup is AMAZING and their energy is so fun!! There are tons of rooms you get to walk through and so many things to see. Come visit ASAP!

But my favorite haunted houses ever that I went to. I’m all the way from the suburbs of Chicago drove all the way out here to Aurora and amazing better than a lot of them out there one of the the best haunted houses I would absolutely recommend people. 10/10

We had an incredible time! We went on day two of them first opening up for the season. Right when we arrived, there was already quite a few actors trying to scare us. The costumes & makeup were amazing! The music was a great touch as well. We paid for general admission but honestly not too bad at all. We only waited a total of one hr and we timed it out on our phones so this is accurate lol We didn’t mind the wait because the actors made it very entertaining by trying to scare you in the actual waiting line. Watch out! They might come up behind you or crawl on the floor to jump scare you! Lol We loved it. The actual haunted house inside is great! Lots of fog, loud sounds, animatronics, actors, and the 3D part was Awesome! The actors did such a amazing job scaring us - they even were crawling on the floor lol The 3D part was especially interesting and did not expect. Lol They give you 3D glasses and there is a whole thing where things pop out and colors are popping out at you. We spent around 30 min in the actual haunted house part so it was decently long haunt. We went to Hellsgate last year so the whole time I was comparing which is better. Hellsgate is amazing as well so I literally can’t decide which is better. Basement of the dead is a 10 out of 10. I think the way you have to think about it is that Hellsgate has a whole outside theme where they take you to the bus and then drop you off at another location. So it creates that suspense and then they have a whole outside haunt before you even get inside the haunted house. Basement of the dead is all INSIDE but it is just as long duration wise as Hellsgate. Basement has the 3D theme starting in the middle of the haunt so it creates two different themes without changing whole scenery. Added bonus is that it was not cold and still warm out so go in the beginning of the season so you don’t freeze!!

First part was amazing!!! Loved that staff worked with our group to scare the one who is afraid the most. 3D was ok. Bit warm in there.
