So interesting to visit and learn about stone henge in ALABAMA! This is a partial replica of the original Stone henge in Wiltshire England. The stones are arranged perfectly astrologically so you can view the sunrise during the summer solstice (first day of summer) if you stand in the middle of the circle looking eastward towards the entrance. The original stone henge is said to have been built in phases between 2000 and 3000 BC. It’s amazing to think about and adults and kids alike will enjoy the visit.

It is a nice walk but all statues (spider, dinosaurs and rocks) are spaced out. Not a big park for kids to play rather than sightsee! Great views!

Okay, so imagine you're cruising through Alabama and BAM—out of nowhere—there’s a full-size Stonehenge replica chilling in a pine forest. That’s Bamahenge, and yes, it’s as random and awesome as it sounds.

It's free, it's weird, and it’s actually aligned with the summer solstice like the real Stonehenge. I mean… who thought of this? And also—thank you.

The whole vibe is peaceful but trippy. Like one minute you're in the South, and the next you're questioning ancient civilizations and pretending you're in a sci-fi movie. The stones are fiberglass, but they look legit from a distance. It's the kind of place that makes you want to spin in circles, take dramatic photos, or just stand there and go, “What even is this?” (In the best way.)

There’s a cool little info sign that tells you about the real Stonehenge too, and honestly, it just adds to the fun. History meets roadside kitsch.

Definitely worth the stop. Take a detour. Bring snacks. Channel your inner druid. Bamahenge is weird—and weird is wonderful.

Fun roadside attraction. No signage advertising or directing, and only one informational sign regarding the layout. About 6 parking spots with quick turnover. Great opp for photos and short walk. Well maintained and clean. No restrooms or water.

This place was alright. Was it cool seeing a partial replica? Yes, but not as cool as other people made it sound with their reviews.

Really cool! Can't believe I've never seen it until now because it's literally down the road from my house. Kinda wish it was an exact replica but none the less it's still really cool. Not to far from Pirates Cove so if you're in the area take the time to stop and see it.
