We did a tour with Baja Mx Tours, from Rosarito all the way down to Los Cabos.

That was good: We were a very international group from all over the world. We had great fun and our tour guides were friendly and easy to chat with. Despite very bumpy roads, we made it to our destination and no one was hurt.

That was bad: Poor planning, non-transparent behavior and hidden costs.
One day we arrived at the hotel 8 hours late at 2am. There was no obvious reason for such a delay - apart from poor planning. As a "solution", our tour guides announced that we had the next day off and canceled the planned program for that day. Even though I didn't mind having a day off, it was unpleasant that we ended up paying for a service that was canceled at short notice.
Also at very short notice, we were told that we would have to pay (again) for a booked service that we assumed was included in the tour. Only cash payments were accepted and because there were no ATMs nearby, cash payments were not easy. The girl who collected the money assured me that she would give me back the change as soon as possible. I still haven't received it to this day. Even if it wasn't a lot of money, this kind of behavior leaves a bad impression.
Unfortunately, this was not the only time that services were cut at the expense of the customer: With the exception of the last hotel at the end of the trip, we stayed in different hotels than originally planned. Our guides changed our hotel at short notice and without any credible explanation. Based on the appearance of the rebooked hotels, it was a clear downgrade. The difference for the rebooked, cheaper hotels was not refunded to us. Based on the multiple rebookings (downgrades), this seems to be a kind of business model of this tour operator to save costs.
Finally, on the second last day of the trip, our tour guides told us that they would make an "important announcement" in 30 minutes. They told us that they had to leave today and disappeared shortly afterwards. On the last day, our tour guides were supposed to do an optional return trip to La Paz. Those in our group who wanted to travel back to La Paz therefore had to make their own arrangements. There was no refund for this additional canceled day. Afterwards, we found out that our tour guides had canceled our tour prematurely so that they could organize another tour in time (at our expense). I really hope that such a business model will not be successful in the long term.
Conclusion: The trip through Baja California was fun and I would do it again - but certainly not with Baja Mx Tours.

Excelentes viajes , recomiendo el del cañón de guadalupe y el de la laguna handson.
Una recomendación: que el guía use micrófono o una diadema para ampliar su voz, porque los que vamos sentados hasta atrás nos perdemos de sus comentarios

Mala experiencia. No recomiendo. En tour a Parque San Pedro Martir.
El conductor manejaba impulsiva mente. Poniendo en peligro la vida de las personas, provocando que el carro se calentará varias veces y se apagará, hicimos paradas innecesarias que se notaba la falta de preparación de los del parte del tour, llegando al parque después de las 4 de la tarde. Más de 10 horas de camino.
No pudimos hacer las actividades y aparte nos obligaban a hacer las cosas rápido sin disfrutar.
Solo llevaron 12 huevos para 15 personas que íbamos. Una persona se quedó sin desayunar después de hacer la caminata de 8 kilómetros.
En la bajada lo mismo con el chófer, las balatas se quemaron.
Por nuestra seguridad preferimos quedarnos en Ensenada y bajar a Mexicali en camión. Gastando extra.
No volvería.

Nuestra experiencia en el cañón de Guadalupe fue magnífica, el Hiking a las cascadas con excelentes guías, la comida incluida deliciosa y la pasara a ver las estrellas en la salada fue una belleza. Muy contentos con Baja MX Tour.

Aprendiendo día a día

Fue un gran viaje a San Carlos,viajo por ex periencias y disfruto y me quedo con lo mejor. De los viajes que he hecho con este tour he conocido lo más valioso que podemos obtener gente maravillosa ,he conocido gente que se ha vuelto amiga. Cuando viajen no vayan conociendo solo los lugares,también dense la oportunidad de convivir con quienes las acompañan en sus tours. Gracias Baja Mx Tour.
