Outstanding experience! It was my first time on a bike. I had a personal session with BMA Joe. He was so patient and knowledgeable! Friendly guy and has a great mindset getting people to enjoy riding dirt bikes. 10/10!

Where to begin! I have been a motorcycle rider and a resident of northern California pretty much my whole life. I went on the dogtown ride with Joe and Tom a few weeks ago and it was a absolute blast. No matter what skill level you are they can accommodate and are more than happy to do so. Not only did we have everything from glassy smooth paved twisties to off road hill climbs and everything in between, but also got a history lesson as we rode through historic towns. These guys put in the time and miles to find these incredible routes that the average or even experienced rider such as myself would ever know of. Take a day and go on a ride with them and I guarantee you will have a awesome day on two wheels.

I met the BMA guys when a riding friend recommended them. I rode the NorCal section 3 ride two weekends ago. Joe and Tom are a wealth of experience, are very encouraging, and are excellent guides.

Just completed BMA’s multiple day rides, and had a blast! Great riding, fantastic views and vistas, and a great group of riders! The Cal Moto crew were there and couldn’t have been a better bunch of guys. BMA hosted some fantastic riding and meals. All around a great time! A+ highly recommend!

Ok folks if you're checking out these reviews you must either be an adventure rider already or thinking about becoming one. Well which ever category you fall into you MUST check out Backroad Motorcycle Adventures. Tom and Joe do such a great job of planning the rides. Tom and Joe are such positive encouraging guys, always with big smiles on their faces, they love motorcycles and riding them, it's contagious, and you'll be smiling and loving it too. Example: There was a guy in our group that had never ridden an adventure bike before, he rented a BMW GS 1250. When we stopped in Hornitos, I asked him what do you think, he replied not sure yet. The next time we stopped and I asked him he said "I ride dirt bikes and street bikes but never an Adventure bike, this is so AWESOME I'm selling my Harley and getting an Adventure bike asap, man Tom and Joe giving me a few pointers just made it all come together. I'm telling you, you have to give BMA a try, their training courses are awesome also.

A few weeks back, I went for a riding Tour in the Sierras. There were six of us in total with the lead guy at the front and a safety guy at the rear. We traveled along, mostly back roads, gravel roads, and some trails through the mountains. Along the way, they were many stops with great views. It was a full day of writing and some sections were tougher than others, but overall it was a good day. And if you are new to this type of writing, the extra help and assistance goes a long way, they were a few times where I wasn’t sure if I Get past certain obstacles, without the help of the very friendly people running the ride A special thanks to Joe who fix my bike while we were on the trail. If you’re looking for some new routes to explore, and And pick up some great riding tips. This is a good team.
