I recently returned from a trip to South America using AudleyTravel Travel. The itinerary was personalized by Specialist Tamara Frederick. She worked closely with us to ensure all of our wishes were met. The trip was amazing which included flights, hotels, personal guides, meals, and excursions. This was my second trip using AudleyTravel and I am planning my next trip with them. It was a wonderful experience.

Thumbs up to the whole Audley Travel Crew and it all started with Tamatha Frederick. My wife and I decided to spend part of our winter season in South America and settled on Chile. Friends of ours had used Audley Travel for a Japanese adventure so we thought we would give a try. Well with very short notice and a tight time frame they organized a great , well planned and seamless advantage. From the moment we met Tamatha (conference call) we knew we were in good hands. After discussing our thoughts and wants, a very detailed itinerary was sent to us. We traveled from Patagonia to Rapa Nui to San Pedro de Atacama and used Santiago as our travel hub. Seamless, is the only true description I can use. All our communications and interactions with the Audley staff, their contacts in Chile, every guide, flight, transportation, user friendly apps were on time and again seamless. We would simple like to say thank you to all involved.

I recently returned from a 14 day trip to South Africa with 7 family members. I planned this trip with Thora at Audley. She was fabulous, we had zoom meeting so all members could participate in planning. She crafted the trip from Cape Town, along the Garden route, ending at Amakala Private reserve. All our accommodations were outstanding. We had many tours planned with Audley partners that were so great. Our time was carefully planned and every thing went smoothly. Everyone had a great time. Such a memorable trip. I can't wait to plan our next adventure with Audley.

I recently came home from a trip to Morocco, planned by Corinne Landry at Audley. The trip was absolutely incredible!! We were so well taken care of by our driver (who stayed with us through the entire two weeks) and by the various guides who showed us their beautiful country. I don't think I can overstate the value of using a company like Audley which has people with deep, personal knowledge of the countries, properties, restaurants, and sites where they plan trips. Corinne met with us while planning the trip to ensure we were able to see all the things we were interested in. We receive a comprehensive binder of information before we left that detailed every day of our trip and provided recommendations for restaurants and other insider knowledge. We're already planning our next trip!

I’ve been on two trips with Audley. The first was lovely. The most recent was a negative experience from the start. The best help we got was when our contact was out of the office and we worked briefly with her manager. There are six sources of itineraries and you need to cross reference them to get info for any given activity. We were booked for the same tour twice under different experience names but caught it the day before. There were incorrect phone numbers for checking in to activities in advance. I emailed my specialist for support and she responded telling me to contact someone else without even helping to look up the phone number. Some itinerary times accounted for check in and some didn’t, so we never knew what time we were actually aiming for. Actual bookings were under different names making check in inconvenient without fail. The guidance on how to get to or from an activity, how to fit in time to eat, or what to do with luggage if it couldn’t come with us at parts was inconsistent or unclear at multiple points leading everyone to exhaustion and frustrating nights of figuring out what comes next.

The photo is a really horrible camp bed that I stayed on as part of my stay (it was actually so bad I slept on the floor which was comparatively fine). So when they give you that excessive quote for your trip, imagine the camp bed before you decide on going with Audley.

Audley did a great job setting up our family trip to Portugal.
They listened to what was important for our family of 11.
The hotels, drivers and guides were first rate.
The tours as well as making pastries and painting tiles was fun for all 3 generations.
I certainly would be glad to have Audley plan our next trip!
