Front staff were helpful! The dentist was not experienced it seems. I took my 11 yr old daughter there for an emergency tooth ache. She was in agony,so long story short they prescribed her antibiotics and said she needs root canal. So it was a Friday and I guess they close at 12:30,it was 12:10 when leaving and I see they still didn't call in RX. I called and told the front desk who reassures me it will be called in. Not her fault she was helpful. But....5 hrs later I'm still calling all these crazy numbers out of State to help. I finally called her primary physician and let them know and he called in the prescription of amoxicillin. So I'm not sure how to feel. My daughter got no relief and they left her high and dry.

Very good service. Dr. Park is an excellent dentist. Very patient, advises you on what needs to be done. He extracted My tooth. I felt no pain during procedure and after. Sounds unbelievable.....but true...I had novicane. Never felt the tooth being extracted. Also the antibiotics cleared up the infection prior to extraction day.

I was a little nervous at first, but the staff was very kind to me, warm and friendly! My experience with Dr Dong J Park is so comforting, he was so patient with me, being a dentist that certainly his calling! I like him, and I'll recommend anyone to Aspen dental! Thank you Dr Park and the wonderful ladies!!!

They were very professional, but I wasn’t made aware it was strictly a consultation. Went in (first time) to have a tooth fixed but didn’t happen…make sure it’s not a consultation that’s all. They were very nice. No major complaints.

Had an outstanding first visit with Dr. Park at the West Haven AspenDental. The office is modern and clean, the personnel friendly and professional. Each person - X-ray technician, hygienist, office manager and Dr. Park - patiently explained what they were doing and why and repeatedly asked if I had questions.
The work that needs to be done was laid out, explained by showing me on my xrays and discussing each issue. The financial side was approached in the same way, line by line.

Go to another dentist! To book your next appointment after your consultation you have to make a payment or set up a payment plan through a credit card company. I called my insurance, procedures that could be done at one appointment had to be stretched out to 2 appointments, more money for Aspen Dental. Surprise, everyone that visits needs a deep cleaning. A bigger cost that can be applied to your insurance. I question their ethical procedures!

Aspen Dental is a complete joke. It’s like the worst type of used car dealership. I went for a cleaning, and they tried to “sell” me over $3,000 worth of “necessary” treatment services after insurance! I’ve never had so much as a cavity in 48 years of life. They made no attempt at comfort or compassion, and were only concerned with selling. Will never return.

I made an emergency appointment with Aspen Dental for extreme tooth pain. They told me I needed a root canal and crown, however the individual who does this only comes in once a month - so I would have to wait over 2 weeks to get this procedure done, meanwhile I'm in excruciating pain. They prescribed antibiotics and painkillers, and I expressed my concern about being prescribed a strong enough painkiller as I was taking 1000mg of ibuprofen with no effect. I was assured I would be given the proper meds to help, and given enough meds to help me get through the next 2 weeks. They gave me 3 days worth of meds, one being a 600mg prescription of ibuprofen. After I told them that 1000mg wasn't helping. To top it all off, their overall recommended treatment would have cost $7,000 WITH my dental insurance, and the root canal and crown would have cost $2,000 WITH insurance. This is insane pricing for these procedures, and I ended up leaving without scheduling anything further from them. The only reason I give them 2 stars instead of one is because the staff were at least friendly, however it's clear they were not sympathetic to my pain or financial situation and did not care to listen.
