Lovely spot. Only stopped here momentarily as was on trip from New Orleans to Memphis, and wanted to tick state off my list. Was closed upon arrival, but looked like a nice stop off.

It is one of the best state visitor centers we have ever visited. Very friendly knowledgeable staff, and there is a lot of information to pick up on whatever your interest is. Today, they were offering coffee and solar shades for the eclipse.

Very nice parking in the back for big rig campers. Parking in the front for cars

This is a great clean place to rest and refresh when needed for people that travel a lot. As long as the West Helena PD will stop trying to run people off at early hours when there sleeping and im talking about 1 police officer in particular that does it frequently to everyone that's here at the time. I think that the state rules need to be introduced to the WHPD so that they are aware what our rights are as far as the rules go. Thank you for your service that's put into keeping this place clean.

Excellent rest stop. Free coffee and super clean rest rooms. Silk flowers and seat covers in the ladies room. A wealth of information covering the entire state, historical displays, helpful staff. Elegant picnic pavilions. Nicely landscaped immaculate grounds. A great welcome to the state.

We travel through this area quite frequently & stop at this center every time. All of the staff are welcoming, knowledgeable & friendly... especially Ms. Laura, she has such a bright personality that we look forward to stopping in on her days at work!
The facility is always clean & well stocked. Plus we enjoy browsing the historical items on display!
