I want to leave my family and become a river guide. The experience was amazing. No cell service just you the water and nature. You have to use your strength to survive. The ride through globe was dope but Gatling and Jake made the trip more than worth it. Why are more people from Phoenix not aware of this place I don't know but you need to go. I'm going again because it was awesome! Highly recommended. Don't become a swimmer haha

We had a blast on the river with Ryan and Glen. They made sure we had a great time, were knowledgeable, fun and great cooks. The scenery was beautiful and the rapids were fun. Ryan made sure we all got hit with the rapids and added in some great antidotes throughout the ride.

I took my 12 yr old twin boys on the half day rafting trip today. They got us all ready in wetsuits, boots, life jackets & helmets. Then they explained what to expect for our time together as well as any possibilities that could happen n the water. We were lucky to have Gaitlin as our guide in our raft. He did a great job connecting with all of us in the raft plus making the trip fun, felt adventurous yet safe as well. It went by so fast I couldn’t believe we were done. It was such a great way to spend our last day in the area and birthday celebration. This is definitely a must do if you are visiting the area and worth the drive.

Great time on the Salt! My son and I really enjoyed the day on the river. Our guide, Cat ( or Kat ) really knew the rapids and how to navigate them safely but excitingly . She was very professional and friendly. Lunch was tasty, too. I look forward to doing this again next year!!!

We did the full day raft trip on the upper Salt River with Wilderness Aware for my husband’s 60th birthday in late March 2024. Our guide Jake was outstanding and had a real passion for the gorgeous river. The views on the bus ride back to the put-in were just as spectacular! I highly recommend this outfitter!
