Marcelo and Andrea did an amazing job with our family vacation over Christmas 2024. We started working with Marcelo about 3 months ahead of time and he planned out every detail of our trip, which was finely tuned to our preferences and our family's vacation style and tempo. Andrea met us at the airport in BA to welcome us and get us settled in comfortably. Every guide and driver arranged by Marcelo and Andrea was professional, friendly, courteous and punctual. The entire 2-week trip was flawless, and we credit Marcelo and Andrea with superb planning, consistent communication, and behind-the-scenes support. They were wonderfully proactive both before and during the trip. I recommend Argentina Adventure very highly.

We were very impressed with how well-planned our Argentina Adventures Patagonia vacation was, although we probably shouldn't have been since Marcelo spent so much phone time getting to know us and what kind of things we wanted to do. From the moment we arrived in Buenos Aires to the time we were dropped off at the airport for the flight home, there was always someone to meet us and make sure we got to wherever we needed to go. Despite the fact that we were in Argentina for two weeks, it seemed like pretty much each day was a different and unique experience: forests, mountains, lakes and rivers, glaciers, ranches, and, of course, the chocolates in Bariloche! Most days we had private guides (all of whom were extremely knowledgeable and friendly) to take us on excursions. There was a very good mix of planned activities and “on your own” time for exploring the towns we were staying in. All of the hotels they booked were of excellent quality. They made reservations for us at a few excellent restaurants and had good recommendations for us everywhere we went. The experience definitely exceeded all our expectations.

My wife and I just returned yesterday from a nearly 3-week trip we planned with Marcelo at Argentina Adventure. The agency was highly recommended to us by friends who travel extensively, and their recommendation was fully validated by our experience. Our itinerary started in Buenos Aires, then continued to Iguazu Falls, Bariloche, Calafate, Torres del Paine, and finally Santiago.

Marcelo was extremely helpful in the trip-planning stage and provided detailed answers to all our questions. Every place we visited was great. Hotels, activities, guides and drivers were uniformly excellent. Beyond that, Marcelo went above and beyond when we ran into two major problems. Problem #1: My wife’s phone was stolen in Buenos Aires on a Sunday afternoon. Marcelo left a family gathering, drove two hours to our hotel, and spend a few more hours calling Apple and Verizon in the US from his phone. Problem #2: Our late-afternoon flight from the tiny Puerto Natale airport outside of Torres del Paine National Park was delayed and then finally cancelled. No one at the airline really spoke English, so Marcello got on the phone with JetSmart gate agents twice, found out exactly what was going on, and communicated this back to us. We ended up having to take a 3-hour bus ride to the Punta Arenas airport for a 3AM flight to Santiago. Marcelo took all the stress out of the situation and arranged a very late check-out with our hotel in Santiago, so that we could take a nap after we got there in the morning, and then still have some time to explore the city. He basically salvaged what would have been a lost day.

I used to be skeptical about the value that travel agencies provide, but Argentina Adventures saved us a ton of research and planning and gave us reliable and good advice. They checked in with every local guide and driver before and after each day’s excursion or activity and made sure everything went smoothly. Marcelo’s wife Andrea personally met us at the airport and gave us a short tour of Buenos Aires and helped us settle in. The two of them couldn’t have been more helpful and I can’t imagine a better travel agency. They were more like a travel partner.
