Loading was fast , but check in may take time.
1. When you arrive at the first gate, you should take right lane. It's a sign commercial trucks and visitors.

The guard will check your truck, you will need to open a hood, doors , they will get inside your truck, and will check that you have no weapons, and will check your ID

2. When you will pass the entrance, you will need to park after the bridge in parking lot. Go to the office, provide your CDL , pu number...
And in the opposite side window you will need to provide your CDL and SSN to get a gate pass.

3. After getting gate pass , you have to go to your truck and wait for an escort car. Who will drive with you to the your dock..

4. You will need to go to the office near docks to get dock number... And after loading, you have to go there to get all paperwork. And they will call escort to get you out.

5. Go to the exit and all done.

This took forever to load and I heard them tip over in the trailer when I made my first turn out of the dock, I hadn't even left the base yet. Those guys had no business loading a trailer as you can see...

There is a daycare there, and I use to go there with my friends, I don't go there anymore because I am too old, but I still miss it and this is a great daycare to take your kids if you ever work at the depot,And its right around the corner from the work area. Plus, the teachers there are really nice, and your kids would sometimes go on field trips to the pool or anywhere else. So, its a good place to start taking your kids for the day if you ever work at the place or visit sometimes. They even have a cabin where I had my birthday party at which had to be rented to be in there. So, its a pretty go place to go.

Not one of the best places to deliver... Receiving by appt ONLY....Military police asked me to leave property after they rejected the load because broker didn’t schedule an appt. Had to wait 5 days till next available appt. RIDICULOUS!!! No close by parking.

Loved working out at their gym... just enough equipment for those who use the facility; main concern is the smell of either sewage or a rotting animal that comes from the vents

Very ignorant security personnel! Captain Carter, being the officer in charge, needs updated extensive training on what he swore to uphold, THE CONSTITUTION! To believe that anyone beneath him follows his lead is very disturbing.

I was happy to find this place so close to the Talladega Superspeedway. So after a long day of racing I decided to hang up my helmet and race on over to the depot. I was sad to find out the on post eatery is closed Mondays. 🙁
