Great spot for young children to learn about mountains, animals, gems and wild fire prevention! There is also a story trail in the forest right behind the facility, with information and pictures about pollinators!

We only drove through (beginning of October 2016), but it was so gorgeous with the fall foliage! So beautiful. We saw various campgrounds, some resorts, & the cog train railway nearby. Even saw a covered bridge with a souvenir shop inside of it. & you have to watch out for moose!

Stony Brook Trail is beautiful but trail markings were scarce. Mt. Moriah has incredible views from the summit. North Carter Mtn. Doesn't have a peak marker.
