After five long years, I finally had a remarkable experience at Andalusia Health that exceeded my expectations. I had the opportunity to be a patient under the care of two exceptional professionals, Emily and Ashley, during my stress test. As I approached the testing area, I was overwhelmed with anxiety about the procedure. However, both Ashley and Emily immediately put me at ease with their warm, reassuring demeanor and thorough explanations of what to expect.

I must give special recognition to Ashley for her extraordinary skill in administering the IV. She was not only gentle but also incredibly precise, making the entire process far less daunting than I anticipated. Her confidence and care made a significant difference in my comfort level. Throughout the procedure, both ladies demonstrated their dedication and expertise, truly embodying the values of Andalusia Health. Their support transformed my visit into a positive experience, and I left feeling grateful for their professionalism and kindness.

Awesomeness, at every stage, in both myshort e.r. visit, & my daughters current e.r. visit. Dr. Haims treated my daughter, & gave me some very important information I should have known about my daughters biweekly medication. Impressive man. Also, when I was here with a sprained neck, & full blown panic mode, Dr. Adelburgs bedside manner was to be commended. What a sweetheart. And more important, both Dr's are brilliant at what they do, & should be proud. Nurses, xrays, triage were all so nice, understanding, & thorough. I'm super impressed. 5 stars.

Hi all. I stayed in the hospital for 3 nights and 4 days with my daddy as he was a cardiac patient. ER was as good as a busy ER can be. Staff was nice, caring, informative. He was transferred to ICU. Time there was excellent. All staff was compassionate, caring, attentive, and all around wonderful. I would have rated this hospital with 5 stars if I were basing it solely on those days experience so thank you very much to all of the ER and ICU staff. After 2 nights he was taken down to the 2nd floor. Before I begin my review on this part....I am a healthcare professional and have worked in many hospitals and inpatient settings so I know what it's like, I know sometimes being understaffed can be an issue, however it's not the level of care that causes me to leave the 3 stars for the med surge department. It's the complete lack of professionalism. First, I understand this floor can be more noisy because there are more people, however....all of the noise...including at night.....came from loud conversations and playing around by the staff. Laughing loudly..etc... and a cry baby..... That's no ones fault, he was a patient himself and that's how babies communicate. Poor thing didn't feel good ....... Although I'm not sure why he wasn't in the pediatric unit as cardiac patients need their rest, as do all patients.
The staff on med surge .... I understand making work fun, it helps get through long shifts. HOWEVER, this was way too loud and completely inconsiderate of the patients need for rest, especially the overnight staff. I understand it's not a library, but all of the stuff we heard was way uncalled for..... Hospital Admin please address this...... They could do better

This is the worst hospital, the Emergency room needs to be shut down, the majority of the staff (nurses) in the ER, let you know they dont want to be there, by their terrible bedside manner. The best doctors they have in the ER is Dr. Griffin & Dr. Carmen, these two really care about you as a person & your health. They really take the time to listen to you & see what's wrong with you. The rest of the doctors out there are traveling drs. & they are just there to get a check. I wish they would travel on past Andalusia. I really wish Dr. Griffin & Dr. Carmen were the only doctors out there in the ER, at least people would get quality care. I went out there because I was in terrible pain, I got there at 11:00am & didnt leave until 5:00pm. I even let a lady that was hurting appeared to be much worse than myself go ahead of me & she waited so long, she just left in pain. I hope this is one of the hospitals the state will go in and rate the hospital. I do plan on sharing my experience with them. Good job Dr. Carmen & Dr. Griffin!! Should be 10 more like yall!

I had my daughter there on 12/02 and the entire staff in the Birthing Center were amazing! I had to do some laboring by myself while I waited for my fiance to get there and they were so comforting. They let me squeeze their hands, rubbed my back because my contractions were really hurting my back. The lady who did my epidural was a sweetheart and stayed until it took effect and I was comfortable. ( I had to have it done twice because the first time didn’t take) I would highly recommend having your baby there.

The outpatient surgery dept. was great during my lens replacement surgery. The girls at reception and nurses Sonya and Tammi, the nurse who wheeled me to surgery and the nurse in the or all put me at ease, explained what to expect and were very kind and friendly. Caleb, the anesthesiologist, was great and, of course Dr. McKinley was amazing. I'm very happy with the care I received from the outpatient surgery dept

I've explained what took place and why your ER. At this point I should receive a reason or problems that caused this lack of communication, compassion, threatening tone, attitude and mannerism. You have my post and my info.

Please let me know what information, excuse, answers from your staff that were interviewed. I'm certain by now you have your side of the investigation finished.

Please forward, email, phone, mailing would be the preferred method.
I gave you the compliant and I want to know why this happened, and what was done to prevent this in the future.

I do not feel any further explanation is needed. At this point a summary of the facts and findings should be submitted to your hospital and set up an appointment with me so we can go over findings, answer any specific questions you may have.

The goal is to come to an understanding and resolution that is agreeable to both sides.

Based on the outcome of said meeting I will determine how to proceed.

Thank You for your time
M. Davis

Came in er by ambulance. Dr Griffin saw me first and from there it was like he was assigned to only me. He explained as best he could to a incoherent woman. He consulted with Dr Tournay. His main concern was my health and my quality of life. Which was very poor at the time. Took a few days for me to fully grasp what was really happening. Through a hundred antibiotics and lots and lots of new meds. I finally feel part of the living. A couple more days and hopefully I get to go home. The girls and guys on the second floor are the best bar none. Not just the nurses, the assistants, the cleaning staff, the cafeteria workers, the lab people and anyone else that may have slipped my mind. I thank you for your professionalism and your kindness. Forever grateful.
