Our guide, Eleanor Yoe, made every minute of this tour fun, informative and worthwhile. Having grownup in CDC she knows the canyon like the back of her hand. She shared lots of interesting stories, her heritage, the Native American/Navajo cultural with us. She was extremely proud to tell us her grandmother lived to 109 yo. She knew about each home/ranch in the canyon as well as the other tour directors we'd run into. She shared the history of the floods and interesting facts about the flora and trees. Afterwards, she told us what else to see/visit/do. We were so excited to take this tour and highly recommend Eleanor! She has a great sense of humor!

Eleanor Yoe was an excellent guide. I cannot imagine a better way to see the remote and beautiful corners of this spectacular place, with its towering rocks, haunting ruins of cliff dwellings, and fascinating petroglyphs. Eleanor not only knows the history of the canyon and its people, she grew up here so she knows the people as they live today. Our jeep tour with her was a highlight our visit to the Navajo Nation.

The Canyon was great. The vehicle was old and dirty, and the guide crumpy that he didn't get a bigger tip rather than "thank you."
