I had not used a travel agent since the 90's before partnering with Lar's on
our trips to the Dominican Republic and Hawaii. Is it really good to have his knowledge and experience. He suggested a rental car for Hawaii which was amazing. We were able to explore the entire island. We had planned a trip again this June to Jamaica that Lar's organized.....but we all know what happened there. Hopefully, we can reschedule for later this year. I look forward to working with Alternative Travel Services for years to come.

We'd never used a travel agent in the past, to be honest, I never saw the value or need. I'd mentioned to Lars that we were planning a senior trip for my daughter & friends & he said he'd be happy to research & get back with some options. We did end up using Lars' services & not only was it a great decision that eliminated all stress but I don't ever again want to plan a trip like this without him. My husband has always been very skeptical of traveling to Mexico but in December Lars arranged a trip to Cabo San Lucas at Le Blanc. Truly, one of the best trips we've ever taken! The service, the hotel, the dining, the amenities & attention to cleanliness was beyond what I've ever experienced...we will return again. Thank you Lars & Bethany...you made the trip flawless & your experienced recommendation was spot on!

From my initial email/phone call with Lars, to the wrap up phone call, Lars was great! Our trip to Mexico went off without a problem, despite being postponed a few months due to Covid. We were able to get a few upgrades at our hotel which I later learned was because of Lars. What could beat a corner suite with a stunning view of the ocean, a private pool, and 4 balconies?!? Whenever I had questions or concerns, Lars was there to help guide me in making the best decisions. I highly recommend working with Lars and Alternative Travel Services!

Alternative Travel Services, specifically Lars Federhar, arranged an outstanding trip for our family to Tuscany, Italy to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. If you plan to travel anywhere, especially internationally, do not do it without working with Lars. He is particularly expert at all inclusive resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean, but his insights into information for our trip, most items that we would not have even thought of, was equal to any. Thanks, Lars, for all that you did to make that trip so very special. And for those of you planning a destination wedding, be sure to contact him -- even though that knowledge is not relevant to us, I have heard from others of glorious experiences he has helped them create for their special celebration.
