My boyfriend and I had an absolute wonderful stay. Kim, Tim, and Cameil were welcoming, warm, and extremely helpful. We are very new to fishing and they took the time to give us tips and tricks. We rented one of their small boat and we spent our days fishing and bumming around the lakes. Everything was exactly as described on the website and the cabin was clean, cozy, and perfect for our needs. We will be coming back!

Great location and the tim and Kim are awesome. we chose this place at the last minute and it couldn't have been any more perfect.

Lots of boats to rent with motors or there are kayaks, canoes, paddle boards . Great for swimming or fishing. Cabins were secluded and well kept, overlooking the lake. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay.

We have been coming up to the Presque Isle area for 40 years - first time we have been to the Alpine Resort. What a wonderful long weekend we had!! Tim, Kim and Cameil are warm welcoming hosts - by the end of the weekend, we felt like we had known them for years. We had some dietary restrictions and Kim worked with those to cook us the most delicious and relaxing meals in the dining room! We stayed at Pine which was a little bit away from the main beach area, and we loved it! The kitchen has enough equipment to cook if you want, and a great fireplace we used as the nights got to the high 40's. Van Vliet is a great fishing lake and is a short boat ride from beautiful Presque Isle lake. We highly recommend this place for your next stay in the North Woods of WI!

Spent five magic nights with Kim, Tim, and Camille at Alpine Lodge. The perfect respite prior to delivering kids to summer camp. Enjoyed our efficiency cabin, Cedar, very much. It had absolutely everything that we needed to make an excellent home base for exploring the Northwoods. Breakfasts were terrific and home cooked by Kim. Kim and Tim created an atmosphere that was friendly, attentive and relaxing. They were terrific guides offering lots of options for exploring the area. Lucky enough to watch Camille do battle with the red squirrel! Don't miss this gem of a place.

Alpine resort was a great experience. Wonderful accommodations, and amazing owners (Kim & Tim). The fishing was great with several walleye and nice perch. We will definitely be going back in the years to come. Lake Van Vliet and Presque Isle are also beautiful Class A musky lakes and aren't jam packed with homes. Great "classic" northern Wisconsin experience.

With a variety of cabin sizes, Tim and Kim Taylor accommodated the 20 of us. Since our last get-together in 2012, they have remodeled some cabins and went out of their way to fit our 6 families into cabins that fit them. It is rustic and nice, not "Holiday Inn".||||The beautiful location right on the lake is great for activities or just sitting and watching the sun set.||||The big deal at this resort is the meals on the American Plan. Kim is an excellent and creative cook (and great baker).||||||Location is deep in the Wisconsin woods. Big trees everywhere!! I am sure we will return again.||||alpine-resort.com

Tim and Kim were great hosts. The three cabins we rented were among the nicest I've ever stayed in. You have the choice of cooking yourself or letting Kim cook for you. We did some of each. Lots to do nearby, including wonderful bike trails. We'll be back.

Classic log cabins and lodge on quiet lake - great fun for us and the grandkids- wonderful hosts-we loved it. We will go back again. Great breakfasts. We wish would could stay there all summer. It is remote but within 20 minutes of other great lake destinations and activities. Plan to stay 3 days minimum. We will reserve a week next time at least.
