I don't know why you got those grades. Although maybe I got lucky with the number.
Room: It's an age hotel. But the room was clean, the bed was comfortable. There was a coffee maker and microwave in the room, so the lack of a kettle was not critical. In my room, the air conditioner did not work for heating, but overall the room was a comfortable temperature.
Price: $75 for a double room in February. The price is more than adequate.
Service: I only stayed overnight so I can't say anything about room service, but the guy at the front desk was friendly.
You shouldn't expect anything sophisticated, but if the goal is just to stay overnight, it's a good choice.

Stay away – do not book this dirty motel

Other than the location, there is nothing in able to recommend. You couldn’t pay me to stay here again.

This place was dirty, rundown and a huge disappointment. The sheets were filthy—clumps of hair and dirt inside them. The floorboards squeaked with every step. No hot water from the sink. The electrical outlet by the bed didn’t work, so my phone died overnight. The whole place was quite noisy. There was mold on the ceiling, the mirrors were deteriorating, and the heater was broken. In a snowy location, no extra blankets were provided—completely unacceptable and thoughtless. I froze all night and barely slept.

To make things worse, there were no curtains on the windows in the bathroom or bedroom, so bright light shined into the room all night. This was the complete opposite of what was advertised on Booking.com. I asked to speak with the manager and never heard back.

And the worst part is this was supposed to be a birthday trip for me and my sisters. It completely ruined our celebration.

I had a horrible experience at this hotel with the owners, who treated me and my child with extreme disrespect. The male owner yelled at me, called me offensive names, and accused us of making too much noise just because my son was walking in the morning. He even came into my room uninvited and threatened to call the police, falsely claiming we damaged the room. When I spoke to another guest, they confirmed they never complained about us.

The police arrived and, despite finding no real issue, told us to leave within 30 minutes because of the owner’s accusations. My son was terrified and started crying. The female owner then barged into our room, pointed her finger at me, screamed at me to get out, and told me never to come back. This experience made me feel awful, especially since I was just trying to have a peaceful trip with my son after the heartbreaking loss of my sister to colon cancer.

No guest should ever be treated this way. This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had, and I do not recommend this place to anyone. The owners are rude, unprofessional, and mistreat their guests.

I don't write reviews but this place had me thinking it was nicer than it was... Place was falling apart. Garbage left from others was found in room. Bed would drop in one corner. Water in shower was very weak. Doors didn't seal. On the plus hot-tub is running and hot.

As far as budget motels, this one may be a bit dated but good and clean. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for so set expectations accordingly but great primarily due to location at Stateline and great customer service provided by new manager there, Roy! Great attitude and conversationalist. He moved out from the Bay Area and Niner Gang to be sure. Be sure to talk San Francisco sports with him. Good guy!

Positive: Hotel employee at the front desk was super friendly and answered all of our questions. She was a gem! We extended our stay and the process was seamless. We will be back! Negative: Cleaned used in the room was a bit strong but once we opened the windows and aired it out it was fine.

Nothing fancy but you get everything you need at a budget price. Good location. Close to downtown. Water was hot. Room had a TV, microwave and mini fridge. Satisfied with my stay overall.

Hotel was a bit outdated. But for the price it was acceptable. Room decent size to get some rest. Furniture and needing could use some updating. It was clean from what I looked at. But I didn’t want to look too deeply. After a long day tubing with grandkids, I was able to get a decent nights sleep. You get what you pay for. For the price I paid I’m satisfied with my stay this jotel
