I would recommend this travel agency to anyone who would like to use a great, considerate, patience agency. I was told everything up front the people I worked with Loris, and Sandra were awesome. Not only did they get my information to me I had no problem from start to finish. Anyone who is looking for a top notch agency to work with look no farther. Hands down I will be using Montrose forever. 5 Stars is not enough to give them if I could give a 10 star I would.

I have super excellent credit and just received a Visa offering double the points if I book through Montrose Travel. Ha ! Just tried to use their website to price a trip to Europe I will be taking. After putting in all the information, dates, etc., and hitting the 'Search' button, I was taken back to the home screen to start all over again, multiple times. Get a CLUE people !! I will take this trip, but not with Montrose Travel.

I just tried to book off the website for Montrose Travel. This website is the worst. There are no rating for the hotels andwhen I pull up cars there is only vague descriptions like 4 wheel 2 passenger or Premium. What kind of car is that? I would never book anything from them because their web design is so poor. It's not user friendly. They could be the greatest travel company in the world but I wouldn't do business with them based solely on their website. The lack of information and poor design makes me think they're shady.

My experience with Montrose and its "independent contractors" has not been good. I did not select them - they were the agent selected by the event host. The independent contractor, a "home based agent," has been very slow to respond and significant matters were incorrectly made in the booking. Because the booking was made through this travel agent, I am stuck dealing with the home based agent. Montrose gets the extra one star for prompting the home base agent to respond. But, Montrose itself also gets no more because they are not taking any action to fix the home base agent's issues in the booking. This has been a very frustrating travel agent experience, and one reason I rarely deal with agents on simple travel arrangements.

I don't even know why Montrose Travel is even in business... Me and my family went there so they could help us plan for a trip to Europe. We were there for about 2 1/2 hrs and I got soooooo bored. The person who was helping us said they would get back to us the next week, but two weeks passed and no email! We emailed them tons of times but that didn't work, so we tried calling them many times and that didn't work either. Take my advice and NEVER GO THERE

No star for them. They sent me the "Cuba travel compliance certification" and after I sent it twice once by fax from Office Depot they said they didn't receive it. I told him the fax was received, check whats going on I can't go again to Office Depot. He gave me the option to send it by email. I ask him why didn't they tell me to use the email yesterday if I asked? The second time they say they didn't know where the form came from. I told them yes I noticed the form is different from the last I used 6 months ago but another agent from your office David just sent it; I can forward that email for you. Then Francisco told me the supervisor said they have to wait till David (the agent that sent the form) would come back on tuesday to ask where he found that form from. NO WAY!!! Is this a kids game? What a wasted time. Sorry.

By far the best travel agency in the area! They hooked us up big time on a trip to Argentina in 2010 and everything was included for less than what the online services were quoting us. Will definitely visit again for another trip in the future.
