Totally worth the entry fee if you love gators!
Incredible sanctuary - very well maintained. Beautiful landscaping. Loved the swamp habitat with the duckweed and cypress trees! Definitely try to catch a feeding when you go- great to watch and the keeper is witty and informative!
Despite containing 700 gators, we felt totally safe the whole time and got to experience huge alligators very close up. Highly recommend this to anyone passing through the area - was a great end cap to our trip to Gulf Shores.
There are multiple stands with refreshments throughout the sanctuary and there's a gift shop at the entrance/exit. Plan on spending at least 2-3 hours here overall.
Would love to see them step up their t-shirt game with some featuring gators and better size variety.

We had a great time time visiting! Friendly staff with a beautiful boardwalk through the swamp. We saw a bunch of alligators and my 9 year old enjoyed feeding them. There is a snack bar and a/c room. Prices were reasonable and fun souvenirs in the gift shop. Definitely worth the drive up from Gulf Shores!

FANTASTIC!! Just what I was looking for to view real gators! Arrived at 10 am and spent about 2 hours seeing and feeding gators that were VERY responsive to the feed! Walked the beautiful, tranquil boardwalk through the swamp with gators of all different sizes swimming among the duck weed ~ truly realistic atmosphere! The animals are really well cared for and the grounds are shady and beautifully planted with flowers of all kinds. There are turtles and snakes and lizards. The giant boas were swallowing their meal while we watched. The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about the animals and care of the facility. I consider this a MUST SEE!! If I lived closer I would DEFINITELY become a volunteer!!

We brought our 17 yr old son (expecting fierce eye rolls and endless phone scrolling) and we all loved this experience. The information at the feeding was engaging and informative, and funny! The staff were so generous and helpful. The property was gorgeous, especially the walkways over the swamp. There are other attractions too like snakes and tortoises. Worth the trip away from the beach. We went early in the day to avoid the heat. You can buy food to feed the gators in the water (see video)

Fun and educational outdoor experience for kids and adults. Great variety of gators, snakes and tortoises and other reptiles. We really enjoyed holding a live baby alligator, observing the gator feeding event while learning more about alligators. We spent about $100 for a family of four, including a bucket of protein gator biscuit feed. The alligators are obviously well-fed and many are quite comically obese.

Who knew hanging out with a bunch of prehistoric-looking lizards could be this much fun?! Alligator Alley is part swamp, part wild adventure, and part therapy—because nothing puts your life into perspective like staring into the eyes of a 12-foot reptile who looks like he’s judging your snack choices.

The staff? Absolutely amazing! Super friendly, full of gator facts, and surprisingly chill for people who hang out with toothy dinosaurs all day. They clearly love their jobs and the animals, and it makes the whole experience even better. I laughed, I learned, I may have sweated a little too much from excitement and humidity.

I forgot to add that you actually get to feed the gators—from a safe distance, of course, walking through miles of swamp land!
The gators? Massive, majestic, and always lurking just under the water like the world’s sneakiest celebrities. You toss food, they come cruising in like it’s a five-star swamp buffet. It’s wild in the best way.

If you’re looking for something fun, unforgettable, and slightly terrifying in the most entertaining sense—this is your spot. Bring your sense of adventure (and maybe bug spray).

Alligator 🐊 awesome place, so many alligators. Baby ones and big ones and I mean big! The moment we pulled into the driveway you can smell roses there were flowers🌹 everywhere, flower gardens in the park. You pay and then you walk through the park. And when you leave you reenter the store where you can purchase memorabilia from your experience. At certain times of the day they feed some of the alligators which you can ask questions and learn from the caretaker
So much to see so much to learn . Very clean place. If you're lucky enough you can hold an alligator 🐊

Was passing through and so glad I found this place!! There are over 700 alligators here!! The staff is so incredibly knowledgeable and kind. I had a blast feeding the alligators and watching all the little fish cleaning up the crumbs! Great price to get in for all you see. Perfect viewing platforms and bathrooms throughout.
