Highly recommend Alabama Horseback Adventures! ? Sam was our guide and he was great! I can’t say enough good things about him! We so enjoyed his company along the trail. My husband and I did the 3 hour trip and it was wonderful. Can’t wait to go again!

Went on a 3 hr ride. Beautiful sceneryThe horses and mules were all very well behaved. Sam and Lou Lou our guides were friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend!!!❤️

We found this company via Google and so glad we did. I spoke with Sam who was able to get us on a 3 hr ride the very next day. Wayne and John were amazing guides. We went on a 3 hr ride thru Guntersville State Park. The pictures just do not do it justice. My mule was Ernest and he was kind and gentle. (Yeah.....I thought he was a horse at first, I apologized to him and we got along great after that.) 1.5 hours up the mountain, a 15 minute break with water and a great view of Guntersville Lake, and another 1.5 hours down. This was only my 3rd time on a horse (yes Ernest your a mule I remember!) It was a great experience. Wayne and John are so knowledgeable, they are local men who ride every single weekend. Couldn't ask for better service or adventure.

We (ages 16 - 60) had a great time (June 12, 2021) We made reservations for six riders on Friday evening for Saturday late afternoon with no issues. They knew our weights and heights when we got there and had the horses saddled up and rigged up. We signed our waivers, got matched up with our horses, and then went on the ride! The staff was respectful, friendly, and helpful. The horses were in great shape, responsive for experienced riders, and easy for first-timers. We loved it so much, we plan to do the overnight camping ride in the fall.

Tried to book for our daughters birthday last year talked on the phone briefly called back left a voicemail and got nothing in return!! I do not recommend communicating with this place it was terrible & just a let down honestly. It was their loss cause we are experienced riders who had money in hand and was gong to do their most expensive overnight camp trail ride and cook package they described but they couldn’t do the courtesy of even responding to schedule us. A joke in our opinion and from what i have read on other reviews we are not the only ones who feel this way. We love to support our local Businesses but not them! They seemed really nice on the phone, but it was not nice for them to not respond after giving us high hopes (as in all the details)and then not scheduling us when we tried numerous times to contact them back txt called and left voicemail & got nothing!! Not cool on their part.

If you ever get a chance to do this take it. The guide was awsome, the trails were awsome, never had a worry about the mules and horses acting up. It was our first time doing something like this and will definitely do it again with the same people. Not sure the experience can get any better anywhere else. Thank you

I went on a 1-hour ride and a full-day ride and it was an absolutely great experience. The guides were extremely nice and did everything they could to make it an awesome ride for us. I can't recommend it enough.

we had a 6 person group and we all enjoyed this so much. I have had my daughter already request to do this for her birthday again next year! The guides are awesome, the scenery was so peaceful,, and the horses are so precious and well mannered! We had a blast would efinitwly recommend.
