Our Belgian family (two parents, two daughters - 19 and 21) did a two week safari in Uganda with AWA. Our driver Jozef was not only a superb wildlife guide, but also a very enjoyable person. You can give input on your preferences, for us resulting in an excellent quality/budget balance. We mainly traveled through Western Uganda - Murchison falls, Ruwenzori Mountains, Kibale National Forest (chimpanzees), Queen Elizabeth National Parks. AWA has a network of local contacts, resulting in privileged, off-track experiences. Golden to do tips. Excellent places to stay and food. A very relaxing highlight in our lives. An unforgettable experience, can’t recommend them enough. Oh and their founder Dani does great stuff with the Jane Goodall Institute for local communities, chimpanzees and nature conservation.
