First off, it was our (wife and I) first time in an air balloon. Apparently we were lucky since the weather dictates if you will be flying and we were there for one day from Texas. We had a great time. Mick and Tom were very knowledgeable and friendly people. I would say there are two type of people who get into hobbies in general... The people who do it "just for fun" (but are not completely invested) and the people who live and breath their hobbies... Aer Blarney seems to be the latter. They are extremely competent and professionally prudent. I say this as a compliment when it comes to something such as getting inside of a basket strapped to a large balloon. Also, mimosas and homemade food afterwards was a nice treat.

We've been taken for a ride, but not the one we were hoping for. My husband paid for a private balloon ride for us in 2017. We scheduled with Mick 7 times, and 7 times he cancelled because of weather. Granted, we are not experts in weather requirements for ballooning but some of the days were picture perfect. Each time his cancelled, we've had to contact him to reschedule, usually months after the cancellation. The ride is fully paid for, but I don't think we will ever get to go. We've been totally ripped off. Buyer beware - do not pay the full amount up front. Can't believe it's been two years.

One of the most amazing experiences of my life was flying with Mick and his crew. Our flight was great we always felt completely safe and would absolutely do it again!
