I purposefully sought out an all-women adventure group hoping to experience a different travel dynamic, and I was certainly rewarded for choosing Adventurus Women! What an amazing community Saveria is building! I loved every minute of my trip to The Canadian Rockies, it was absolutely stunning. I started the trip as a solo traveler and ended the trip with 23 new friends.

This group of women welcomed me with open arms, hearts and minds and we all bonded over the similar need to seek adventure in an environment that just lets you be yourself.

Don’t listen to any excuses you might come up with why you shouldn’t…JUST GO!

As someone who has traveled extensively, and planned many trips with a large family, I can sincerely appreciate the work and details that go into their itineraries. I don’t know that anyone going on a trip without knowing anyone knows what they’re getting into, let alone the impact the trip can have on them. I was inspired to seek out more women led events after a taste of one led by REI in 2019. Just as fate would have it, I found myself immersed in an experience in January 2024 with the founder of AdventurUs Women, whom I later learned was a huge part of the beauty of Outessa. Following the Winter Escape, I was hooked.

Saveria’s AW has beautifully captured the essence of small community amongst women seeking to challenge and invoke their sense of adventure, all while providing an organic environment to grow and meet parts of yourself needing tending, growth, and rest. What a testament to the strength in our bonds as women and the ability to be inspired by others. There is no limit to age, and no pressure to be what you aren’t. Just a resounding support to be, and effortlessly empower yourself and others, as you take on new adventures with strangers who quickly become friends.

The Canadian Rockies trip was an amazing experience. The guides were wonderful, knowledgeable, and flexible to the needs of the group. The sites were breathtakingly beautiful with the ability to silence your mind and speak to your soul. The entire trip was a transcendent experience. I encourage any woman looking to stretch outside their comfort zone, or even those seeking adventure with those that hold space, give encouragement, and practice gratitude to take a trip with AdventurUs Women.

I am still on a high from my experience with AdventurUS Women hiking in the Swiss Alps. It was the most exhilarating and fun trip I have ever taken. Absolutely every detail was planned to perfection so we did not have to worry about a thing. The local hiking guides were knowledgeable and took great care of us. AdventurUS Women is a top notch organization. After having my hips replaced I was looking for an experience to replace running marathons. I found it! As a new hiker, I signed up for the Dolomites Hiking Adventure with no idea of what to expect. Saveria guided me every step of the way: offering a training plan, guidance on gear and most of all inspiration and confidence in my ability to complete this trip. The guides we had during the trip were incredible. Their pacing, expertise and engaging personalities made each day interesting and enjoyable. The best part of the trip was meeting and developing friendships with the incredible women who I shared this experience with. I am definitely doing another trip next year!
