I took a 2-day lesson with Al, who’s friendly, professional and a great teacher. I’ve been to a couple of beginner surf schools and this has been the best so far. I was never taught surf etiquette or braking anywhere else. The wetsuit fit well and did enough to keep out the cold. I highly recommend coming here and might be back myself to learn more soon.

I booked a two-day beginner class and it was great. Unlike Hawaii coach, Jeff and David were mainly teaching us knowledge of go surfing alone. Those knowledge is pretty helpful if I would like to practice by myself and how I handle different situations. It is really insightful and helpful. It maybe difficult to enjoy the surfing experience itself since Northern California has many factors to consider (weather, wetsuits etc). I still enjoy it and would like to come again if I visit.

I had never touched a surfboard in my life but on a whim decided to try the 2 day surf classes with Adventure Out. Jose was my instructor and he was such a great teacher, super professional and knowledgeable, gave each person in the group one on one help and attention, focused a lot on safety education, and gave extremely helpful tips and feedback the whole time. The other instructors I saw out there seemed really great too. 100% recommend!

Our family was looking for surf lessons and these guys came highly recommended. Definitely didn't disappoint. They made it fun, lots of energy, and helped the boys get up on the waves. You could tell they enjoyed seeing others succeed surfing as much as they enjoy surfing themselves! Would definitely book again.

Really loved my experience today with my first ever surfing lesson. Adventure Out made all of the information really easy and seamless. Signing up, arriving, what to bring, where to park - all of it was very clear. The instructors we met were incredible, kind and encouraging especially Gary who took us out into the water. Would happily get more lessons with them again!
