I very happy with my surgery,
no pain afterwards, no discomfort at all. i was able to resume my normal activity right away.
I did had a problem with the stuff tho,
for one i needed my appointment in santa maria that’s why i chose this doctor. The last minute surgery was an hour away. i had a hard time finding someone to drive me so far. We never talked about another going to another town.
Then the doctor didn’t let me talk. I was ready to let him know how happy i was, but he was too busy talking he didn’t seem to care about my opinion. i felt i was just another eye surgery not a person. Some of us like to be seen like a person not a project.

This was my first consultation appointment with Dr. Abroms and felt the visit went very well! I was referred to this office regarding my cataracts. I felt the staff was awesome and very thorough. I had the opportunity to ask questions and felt the doctor spent enough time with me with an extensive examination and also addressed another optical issue I have. I am confident that my future appointments and pending surgery will go as well.

Awesome staff who went through everything in great detail and were very friendly. I felt they genuinely cared about my health and were not chasing money like summer practitioners. I understand it is hard to keep appointment times and this is the only reason they did not get a 5, they were running 30 minutes late and did not let me know or apologize. Little attention to detail can take the consultation from excellent to exceptional. I will recommended them to my family and friends.

Post surgery check was problematic. Doctor assigned to post surgery location was unexpectedly not available. Notice to patients of change in location (30 minute drive from assigned location) was not timely. Dr Abrams’ staff did twork with my limited travel options.

Had an informative time learning about Laser and Lasik. Benefitted greatly from the laser cataract surgery! After 70 years, I finally see in 3D! It is amazing!

So very organized and efficient is this team of professionals. I felt welcomed and treated as an individual at the same time. Unusual for a standard procedure such as cataract removal. I feel confident as I proceed with the team at ADV.
From the phone conversations to the meetings in person, I have been treated with the upmost of respect and individuality as a person with individual needs and concerns. I have never felt like a sheep in a heard as I have with some medical offices in my aging years. I have been fully listened to, by all the staff. I feel comfortable and confident I am in caring and efficient hands as I proceed forward with my cataract surgery.
