The Nest was the perfect solution for our winter getaway. We love the neighborhood and its proximity to downtown. We greeted neighbors in the mornings during our walks and admired the gorgeous landscaping of the houses.
The backyard is a private oasis and the pool is a welcomed respite from the day’s activities. The fire-pit area is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine and gaze at the stars. We wish we had booked more days and it was hard to go home! We will 100% be back the next time we need to escape the cold winters of Minnesota.

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Shaken, Not Stirred home in Palm Springs over Thanksgiving week. The house exceeded our expectations, offering a comfortable and welcoming environment with all the amenities we needed—and more. The pool and jacuzzi were a relaxing amenity and the property was clean, efficient, and well-stocked with supplies. We had everything necessary to prepare and enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving holiday and dinner.

The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, and the neighborhood was extremely quiet, making for a restful retreat. The service and attention from ACME House Company were exceptional; their responsiveness added to our positive experience. Even our dog enjoyed the stay, as the home provided thoughtful touches like dog bowls, though we brought our own supplies. It was reassuring to know such conveniences were available if needed.

Areas for Improvement —

There were a couple of minor concerns. The television in the master bedroom was outdated and unreliable, often freezing after a few minutes of use. A replacement would greatly enhance the guest experience. Additionally, we were informed that playing music in the backyard is strictly prohibited, even at low volumes, due to local regulations. While we understand the need to respect the neighborhood’s peace, the inability to play soft background music detracted slightly from the atmosphere, especially while relaxing in the jacuzzi. The policy, coupled with the threat of eviction for playing music, felt overly restrictive and left the backyard feeling a bit sterile despite its stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

Highlights —

One of the standout features of the property was the beautiful backyard, complete with fruit trees—lemon, orange, and grapefruit—that added a touch of charm and tranquility to the outdoor space. It was a joy to take in the scenic beauty while enjoying the amenities provided.

Final Thoughts —

Overall, our stay at the Shaken, Not Stirred home was fantastic. The property was well-appointed, quiet, and ideal for a Thanksgiving getaway. We would definitely book through ACME House Company again in the future. Despite the small drawbacks, we left with fond memories and a strong desire to return.

We rented the Paradise Splash at Little Tuscany in Palm Springs during Nov 9-14, 2024. The house was fantastic for our group of 8 (4 couples). Everyone who we were in contact with at ACME House Company were extremely friendly and responsive. We hope to be back one day.

What a gracious house to host Thanksgiving for our merging of families for an engagement! The house is incredibly well appointed (kitchen, bath, etc.!) even with a full spice drawer and loads of coffee and creamer. We had Thanksgiving dinner by pushing the two outdoor tables (seating 6 ea) under the canopy, huge amount of space inside for serving and large kitchen. Soooo many pots and pans.,.. The inside and outside pool, all the bedrooms - did I mention all of the chargers in each room and next to every bed? Everything was simply perfect. Acme’s communication was beyond excellent. We will be booking again for the wedding next year!

We stayed at one of the homes Acme manages in Palm Springs for six nights recently and the experience from start to finish was excellent. Great communication, clear instructions, open and transparent pricing, and the one (minor) issue we had was dealt with quickly and effectively. I highly recommend this company. We will absolutely be back and will use them again.

We stayed at Desert Bloom Retreat for 5 nights with two other couples. The house was stylish and comfortable. The pool was great and the hot tub heats up quickly! The location is excellent! You couldn't ask for anything more! We'll definitely be back.

I had a wonderful stay at Camino Mountain Villa. Acme was incredibly responsive and attentive leading up to and throughout the stay. An issue with the pool heating (too much) and the spa heating (not enough) was promptly addressed the next morning after arrival. The home was beautifully designed, well appointed, and incredibly comfortable for our vacation. Loved the fireplaces for the evenings. The fresh citrus on the property was a fun addition to our cocktails. Overall, fantastic stay and a wonderful rental company. I would definitely contact Acme for my next Palm Springs vacation.
