I absolutely cannot say enough about how wonderful A G Venture Tours is. Evan is so incredibly knowledgeable about the area, wine, agriculture, local history; it truly was amazing how much we learned on this tour.
For our tour, we had (4) total stops, (3) that included tasting and one vineyard to see the growing process. We were blown away with how custom Evan is able to make the tours but also show you that just because you tried a XXX kind of wine before & didn't like it, that maybe you just didn't have the right one, and to keep an open mind. Boy was he right! I loved so many wines on this tour that I had earlier written off!

I have to commend Evan for making us feel welcome, that no question was silly & explaining in so much detail anything we wanted to know. If you are looking for knowledge, experience (25 years!!) and just a great person to spend your day with learning about wine or agriculture, there is no better than Evan!

Our group of 6 booked Evan for a Carmel Valley Wine Tasting Tour in May 2024. Evan picked us up at our hotel and provided a full day tour, visiting one vineyard and 4 tasting rooms. You won't find a more knowledgeable guide for the area, and I would highly recommend any tour he runs.

All I can say is - WOW!

Evan was an amazing tour guide! My family and I (9 of us) took the 1/2 day Carmel Valley tour. I have taken a few wine tours before, but this was by far my favorite.

From the start of the tour until the end, Evan taught us some amazing things about the area and wine itself. Everything from how it is grown, harvested, made and drank (ha!). Evan also lined up fabulous tasting rooms. While in the tasting rooms Evan assisted with some great parings.

I wish we booked the full day tour, because I would have loved to have spent longer learning all about the area. Needless to say I will 100% be taking another tour Evan offers AND recommending him to anyone looking for a tour in the area.

My husband and I had the best time touring wineries with Evan. Evan is very knowledgeable, from the type of grapes, it’s fermentation into alcohol to bottling, his knowledge in wine is unbelievable.

We took the half day farm tour with our 2 boys, ages 20 and 23, who were both pretty skeptical of the whole idea. In the end, we all agreed that this is one of the best tours we've ever done. Not only did Evan seem to know just about everything there is to know about the industry but he delivered it all in an engaging way.
