This was the worst trip ever. It was a bus trip with stays in 2-3 star hotels. What happened to the touted train trip? You had part of the day in a train in steerage or economy class. We were unable to access the dining car for our one meal onboard. We had to stand in line and wait fir a cold sandwich and canned drink.
The guide was condescending and rude. There were many unpleasant surprises along the way. Stay clear of this company for any “train” trip. What a disappointment.

Uncommon Jouneys really dropped the ball on this one. The Queen Mary 2 was great, but our 3 days following after the ship were a bit scattered to say the least. We had to pay for an Uber from the ship to our hotel, pay for taxi's to our lunch destination (lunch was paid for by the tour), we had to pay for a taxi to the train (which we didn't know until the night before what time we'd be leaving the next day until about 7:30 that night). Our tour guide never got feedback from the office. All of that should have been set up for him and he shouldn't have had to wait for instructions which he had to relay to all of us. This happened continually - he always had to wait - didn't know what was going on. Our farewell dinner was also cancelled because Uncommon Journey's never got back with him. All was ridiculous- for the amount of money we paid for the trip to have so much in the air and so much uncertainty and all the transportation we had to pay for. We'll never travel with them again.
