Scott did a wonderful job taking us on a private, 6 person tour around the meadows of Sequoia National Park. We signed up for 3 hours and our group had a variety of age groups. Scott was able to answer all our questions, throw in some interesting stories, and he even emailed us back after our trip to follow up on some questions he did not know the answers to during the tour. We would HIGHLY recommend Big Tree Tours in Sequoia National park to have a guided view of this amazing natural wonder!

We give Big Tree Tours our very highest recommendation. We had planned to do more hiking in Sequoia National Park, but the snow was too deep on most trails so we booked the last minute snowshoeing tour, and that turned out to be a very fortunate decision. Scott was punctual, polite, professional, funny, and flexible. My son and I spent the day snowshoeing through some of the most beautiful terrain we’ve ever seen, and we did not encounter another human all day. It was amazing. Scott provided just the right amount of education and information including among other things interpreting tracks of various animals including a Fisher. The entire experience was fantastic, start to finish. Big thank you to Scott for giving us some father-son memories that will last lifetime.

We drove 20 minutes from our Three Rivers Airbnb to Potwisha Campground in Sequoia. Scott brought out chairs for us and a telescope and gave us a great introduction to the night sky, giving the kids a better understanding of how our solar system and galaxy fit into our universe. Scott is very friendly and was great with our 4 kids (ages 11-14), and he has a laser pointer that is so powerful he can easily point out which star he is talking about, which is very helpful. I highly recommend this for a great family educational activity.

Thanks to Scott for taking us to see General Sherman and co. on the Congress trail in snowshoes! Scott made this experience 1000x more magical. He gave us all the info we needed to get ourselves there, then we got to cut our own trail in the snow, tracking deer and other wildlife, see the most incredible giants (all to ourselves), and learn all history and facts about these sacred trees. He also helped us navigate the experience beyond the hike, in terms of where to go and what else to see. See you in the summer for another adventure, Scott!

Our family had the most amazing time with Scott today. We booked two different tours(Crescent Meadow Hiking and Stargazing) and they were both one of the best experiences we've ever had visiting national parks. As we explored the Cresent Meadow trail at the Sequoia National Park, we were amazed at the depth of knowledge Scott shared with us. The content was so rich that we were so glad we added this tour to our Sequoia Park trip itinerary. He not only was so proficient in educating us but also knew how to make it interesting and fun for even our teenage kids! Stargazing tour was another highlight of our trip. Through his telescope, we could see the surface of the moon so close and the Jupitor and even its satellites. We had to change our tour date due to an unexpected car issue and we were significantly late to our hiking tour due to our poor planning but he was so kind and accomodating from beginning to end. Scott, you are the best and we look forward to seeing you again! Thank you for making our Thanksgiving family trip so memorable.
