My family and I booked a Morro Bay cottage from this company through AirBnb several weeks ago and were confident from the positive reviews that we would have a nice stay. Sadly, we had such an unpleasant stay in the house that we were forced to leave a day early due to health concerns.

Upon entering the house, we were greeted with a very strong musky odor. The house was essentially filthy. An old build up of dust was on all the surfaces, in some places at least a quarter inch thick. The heads of the sofas and armchairs were black from sweat stains with a build up of human hair around the tops and cushions. There were loose hairs on the kitchen counters and microwave, long black hairs on the walls of the master bedroom shower and on the nightstand in the double bedroom. I used a tissue to try to clean the hairs off the nightstand—it came up black with a sticky substance. Several dishes we pulled out of the cupboards had dried food stuck to them. Sadly the table in the back garden was covered in dirt and bird poop. In the veranda the screens were ripped in places and hanging loose. My daughter suffers from asthma and within 24 hours was using the inhaler we keep for emergencies. The double beds were sunken in, deep grooves on either side—one of which the frame was in such bad shape you couldn’t move an arm without making a loud creaking noise. When we stripped the beds before leaving (as required) we found little plastic beads under the fitted sheets.

I reached out to the host immediately upon check in. They responded the next day saying their new cleaner must not be up to par and refunded me the cleaning fee. This was OLD dirt though, grime built up over time. I sent many photos and a video and complained about the beds. The company never responded. I did go through Airbnb to try to get an additional refund which the host refused to give. This was a big wrench in our holiday plans.

**Addendum-: the snarky reply from this company for a less than perfect review should be enough to warn other travelers off this establishment. I did not ask for a refund for a squeaky bed, rather a partial refund for the overall sorry state of the property for which we paid a premium.

Nice space for our group! Comfy living space upstairs. Clean. We ran out of TP and had to buy some. Also, we ran the dishwasher once but only one pod so couldn't the second time. Tried to pay a deposit but payment was rejected. We they reprocessed they did so using the extra $50 insurance option instead of my deposit. Not sure why. All in all a thumbs up. I would recommend this place.

This company is horrible. We rented a beach house from them through VRBO. The place was a mess when we got there, hair all over the master shower, the counters had to be wiped down. They left one toilet paper roll in each bathroom, one paper towel roll and one trash bag in each trash can. We had to go buy toilet paper and trash bags just to stay there four days. Then, they gave US a 1 star rating as a guest through VRBO. What a joke. We come to Cayucos every year and rent a house, we have never had an experience like this.

Wow these guys are horrible to deal with. Terrible attitude, totally unresponsive to guests and the homes are marginally clean. Debbie was a real pain to deal with. I won't be using these guys again there are better agencies and homes out there.
