So peaceful and beautiful views everywhere. I've been coming out here to take walks off and on for almost 25 yrs. Love it. Water views, gorgeous sunsets, friendly people, some leashed dogs. Some playing ball on the grassy knolls. Restaurants all within walking distance. Just perfect.

The harbormaster and assistant harbormaster are super friendly and helpful
Although guest berthing is limited they accommodated us and made the stay enjoyable.

Located 4 miles up the mouth of Sacramento River, Benicia has maintained a small town feel and quaint main street. The yacht club is very welcoming with an active boating community and a full bar. The marina is within a short walk of main streets shops and restaurants. Our sailboat drafts 6'8" and we were able to navigate in the marina channel at 2' plus tide.
Very pleasant weekend experience.
