Dylan's Tours is phenomenal! The tour guide was entertaining and knowledgeable. Our afternoon tour was canceled because our driver fell ill so we were offered the 8am tour, which includes the lunch in Sausalito, at no additional charge. We saw all the famous areas and, of course, the beautiful Muir Woods.

Beautiful area with amazing trees. Giant trees with flora and fauna everywhere. So many interesting nature items to see and some birds I haven't seen before. There is a healthy Cafe and gift shop close to the beginning of the area. Nature abounds, worth the visit!

Very nice place with beautiful legendary trees (which seems very very old). A lot of fresh air and eye-catching trees gives a beautiful experience for the visitors. The place is clean with good trails..and can get beautiful pictures.
The trials are good with wheelchair / stroller access.
The way to the place is a little adventurous to drive. So please be slow and non aggressive on the route.
The place has nice washrooms. It is better to keep water and snacks.
MOST IMPORTANT: BOOK YOUR PARKING SLOT IN ADVANCE ONLINE BEFORE YOU REACH . ALSO KEEP A SCREENSHOT OF THE PARKING TICKET, SINCE THERE WILL NOT BE ANY MOBILE RANGE OR INTERNET WHEN YOU REACH THERE.

We took the ferry to Sausalito from SF from Pier 41 and than the shuttle. Ferry was $12.5 for one way and shuttle was $3 for two ways. Shuttle must be reserved online.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The shuttles ran on time and the driver kept us safe on the winding roads. Muir Woods was gorgeous and totally worth the little side trip from SF!

A great way of getting up to Muir Woods! This is the brainchild of Dylan's Tours (we have used them before), they seem to be running the operation under this name. Our day started out with picking up our bikes, everything went pretty smooth. We didn't get to choose which bike, which was fine for us, they have a variety of bikes, ours was a simple "dutch style" bike. Around 10:00 a.m. we took off from their shop located in the Fisherman's Wharf area. It took us about two hours to get to Sausalito, others in our group spent over 4 hours, they stopped for coffee, we really wanted to check out Sausalito. We conveniently dropped off our bikes at another local bike shop, grabbed some lunch, then hopped on the little bus to go up to Muir Woods. There is a $10 entrance fee to the park, but it's totally worth it. We were allotted over an hour in Muir Woods, I could of easily spent over an hour in the park. After exploring the park we all met up with Brendan our driver and had a nice ride back into the city. I researched a bunch of other tour companies on how to get up to Muir Woods by bike, this was the only one that offered this type of service. It was definitely a fun and thrilling day. We didn't get back until after 5:00 p.m. I would say it was money well spent.
