Gulf Coast Tours brought us safely to Columbiana, Alabama. However, they decided that only the 62 children needed seats on the way back--leaving out the 25 or so adults. Their excuse is that they didn't have 2 big buses for us, which is what we paid for. Their other excuse is they couldn't reach the teacher in charge (we are in the woods with very poor cell signal). In short, kids and adults had to sit on top of each other in one big bus and one 12 passenger bus. As this is a safety problem, my daughter and I decided not to ride their bus. Once again, there are more people than seats! I am very disappointed and will not use their charter service again as they have left us high and dry. At the very least, they should have sent up another small bus or 15 passenger van. I had to find my own way home to avoid having to squeeze on a 56 person bus with 75 people. Shame on Gulf Coast Tours! You have failed us miserably.

The Clark-Shaw situation was RIDICULOUS and COMPLETELY UNSAFE, especially for a 4 hour trip from Columbiana to Mobile! Two full-size busses were provided for the trip there, but only 1 full-size bus and a 12-passenger van were provided for the way home. There was no room for any of the chaperones! My husband and daughter were able to be picked up by my mother after she drove multiple hours to get to them and then drove even more hours to get them home. As a teacher, I will NEVER use Gulf Coast Tours! Do better!!!

Dangerous and uneducated drivers creating chaos on I85 during business hours. Why do these women feel its okay to stay in the fast lane when law states otherwise. This company is dangerous to the public and should be investigated by the DOT. 5 buses of I85 in Greenville yesterday causing everyone to pass them on the right. You could not pay me to travel with these people. Going to get folks killed out there.

Teacher here for Mobile county Public Schools.
Contract was written up SEVERAL months back for TWO 56 passenger buses. We departed from Mobile, Alabama to Columbiana, Alabama for a two night trip on 2 56 passenger busses.

The buses dropped us off in Columbiana safely!!

Our days pass and it’s time to head home but Gulf Coast Tours sends us back ONE 56 passenger bus and a 12 passenger bus. Not happy! We made everyone fit but we are not comfortable!!

This was my first experience with Gulf Coast Tours, a trip to the Alabama-Tennessee game from Spanish Fort, AL. It was well worth the money and made this an easy one-day trip rather than an overnight stay when i drive. The driver, a lady the long-term riders addressed as "Lou," was excellent. Extremely safety conscious on a night drive back, much over two lane roads, as well as courteous and attentive to her passengers. Overall a really good option for this trip that I will use again.

How can you provide 2 full size charter buses for a field trip, drop us off and leave and then return with 1 full-size bus and a 12 passenger van when the contract was signed for 2 full-size buses? Explain that!

They were very quick and efficient with giving us a quote and booking a bus for our trip. Great pricing that beat the competitors by hundreds. Bus driver was a professional and the bus was very clean. 10/10 service from Gulf Coast Tours from start to finish!

This review is not against the company, its against the driver of our trip.
Mr. Carson was extremely rude the entire trip to and from Nashville, TN. He had extreme road rage, pull out in front of vehicles, honked at vehicles that was stopped and obeying the traffic laws. He would become easily upset with the slightest change that was beyond our control. The bus was infested with roaches and Mr. Carson stated that this particular bus has had some issues with roaches and he did spray the after we stopped. The day we left Nashville, TN Mr. Carson refused to assist with loading the bus. Mr. Carson sat behind the driver's seat watching tik tok about cooking ribs. Hopefully he will receive some training on customer service.
