We were throughly impressed with this outfit! We took the grandkids for there first ride ever, and were so happy with how safe and friendly the team was.. our horses were beautiful and very well behaved. And the scenic ride topped off a wonderful day, Thank you for an amazing day.

My daughters time riding a horse ? she's only six and even though she was with her girls scout troop (5150) I was worried but the staff up there answered all my questions and put my mind at ease thank you for keeping her safe and making her like a natural at it.
Recommend calling ahead to ask any questions you have, they will call you back or answer the phone when you call unlike other places.
Only one porta potty and even though it's clean it's their only source of a restroom so I recommend holding it and going into town but if you got to go they do have one restroom.

Loved this experience! Everyone in our group was well matched with their horse and the owners took really good care of us. We had 5 kids in the group ages 7-10. We can't wait to go back and I highly recommend Shave Stable!

We took my nephew up to go horse back riding for his birthday adventure. It was his (and my husband's) first time riding and he was a bit nervous. The guides were so wonderful and patient with him and they put him on the absolute sweetest horse, Rockey. They made sure he was comfortable and understood how to stear and make his horse stop if needed. They checked in with him throughout the ride to make sure he was OK and after he told us he wished he could do this for every birthday adventure. I grew up riding with my cousins so trail rides aren't usually my favorite but it was a pleasant experience. It was absolutely gorgeous riding around the lake and made for a very peaceful afternoon. I definitely recommend wearing pants since sometimes the brush gets a bit thick or one of the horses thinks it's fun to wall closer than necessary to bushes and trees. It is also dusty on the trail so be prepared. All in all it was a great day. Rockey, Alex, and Handsome all three deserve some extra apples and carrots and maybe a few sugar cubes.

Had a great time, took my 2 young daughters for their first ever horseback ride. Ashley and a older gentleman were our guide. They were great with the little ones. Overall a very great place with great staff. Would recommend!
