Absolutely amazing. This is one of the curated experiences that take you away from the crowded and touristy stuff. Tom and his wife do private tours for a small group of people. They pick you up from your hotel, walk you through the woods sharing the stories and history. They even arranged for a picnic inside the woods. I loved the experience as well as the attention Tom paid to individual needs. His wife even collected bay leaves from the forest for me as I love to cook with it 🙂

Tom was great. He picked us up at our hotel. At my request, he picked up egg sandwiches on fresh made bagels from a local shop he was aware of so we ate in transit. He was a tremendous guide and provided many meaningful insights and details. He took us off the beaten path and not until the end of our nearly 2 1/2 hour hike did we run into other people. We even stopLed for lunch in a private area at a picnic table he was aware of. Tom rolled out the tablecloth and flowers for ambience and provided us fresh made sandwiches, cheese and crackers, fruit and snacks. He took us to Sausalito where we got ice cream and then drove us back to our hotel.Tom provided many insights in transit in both directions; the type of stuff you normally have to pay tour guides for but they don’t really know it authentically.

Muir Woods was an awesome place. Tom was very professional, friendly and responsible. If you want a little bit of nature and fresh air, try Muir Woods with Tom. I did not regret anything doing this tour. I plan to do it again this summer.

Absolutely breathtaking. The main trail is wheelchair accessible and flat. But if your looking for a Sirius hike there are plenty of rigorous trails.
