My wife and I visited for our wedding anniversary, hoping to find a quiet out-of-the-way place with a pool where we could relax and get away for the weekend. We couldn't have been happier here. The rooms were comfortable and immaculately clean, the pool was crystal clear and an ideal temperature (not too hot or cold) and while there were other guests there, it was super quiet. Great places at the front and back doors to sit and enjoy the view, and another spot with a super view of the lake on the back deck. We loved it and will get back for another visit when we can.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay and thank you to Teresa for making it seem so much more special. We stayed just as the season was getting underway so very quiet. The rooms are well equipped and cosy. Views over the lake are so relaxing and just loved watching the humming birds feeding just outside the office.

A wonderful place on the lake, friendly staff, they make you feel like family! Pet friendly place, important for us because we travel with our Jolie Fleur toy poodle. The shop marina has any last minute things to buy and the soft serve ice cream you don't want to pass up!
There's gas pumps for refueling too. The boat ramp is very nice & wide to launch your boat.
They offer pontoon boat rentals, which is what brought us there. We rented a large party barge one day then a 29 foot pontoon on another day. They were in great condition and the staff took the time to show us all the workings on the boat
This is a very professional operation with hometown hospitality and I highly recommend Lake Ouachita Shores Resort. (LOSR) By the way, the lake is absolutely gorgeous and one of the cleanest lakes in the States. Put this on your list. You'll thank me later!

They were amazing and allowed for late check out since I was there for a bass tournament. Always clean and very affordable. Great location with ramp outside your door. Has bbq pits, a gazebo, fridge in room. Truly a gem off the beaten path. Owners are super nice!!

This place is so peaceful and just breathtaking. It has the best things Arkansas has to offer in one location...the scenery is amazing at Sunset, overlooking the lake, and they provide several outdoor family games to play; like ladder-golf and horse shoes. The pool is great too! The price is really a great value and they allow my dog, which is a huge plus. The lady working the office is just so sweet and goes above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay. This is mine and my husband's ideal weekend getaway, when we need some time alone. You can even rent a party barge from the marina, within walking distance, which we have done several times and it did not disappoint.
If you have a large family or group looking for a great place to stay for a week or a couple needing a weekend getaway, you should definitely check out this place. I would recommend to all types of families, large, small, and everything in between; it has something for everyone. ?

I love it here. The owners are very kind, sweet, and helpful. The rooms are very clean and have everything you need. It's a peace of heaven I call it. Beautiful scenery and peace and quiet. Nice pool and marina to take your boat out on or even rent one!!
