This tour was awesome! 10/10 would do again with family and friends! Kathy was a great guide, so much passion it was infectious. one suggestion maybe, hopefully, Kathy the gays need an ice coffee break during the tour lol definitely recommend using the discount card Kathy gives out for the GLBT museum 🙂

We had the most wonderful experience with Kathy on our walking tour, she is really incredible and knowledgeable of San Francisco/Castro district. Kathy taught us of the incredible history and legends of the Castro, along with important monuments and milestones. We will never forget Kathy and her spirit and wit! Our guide Kathy was awesome. She explained a lot of the history of the Castro district and the lgbtq+ civil Rights movement. Some of it was intense, you could see she too cared deeply about what she was talking about, that helps through the intense parts. I learned a lot that day. Thanks Kathy. The weather was terrific, and the length of the tour seemed just right.

Kathy was amazing! Engaging, entertaining, and informative for people both steeped in queer history and those who have had no exposure to gay culture at all.

A great tour that shows lots of sights in the Castro. If you want to learn a little more about LGBTQIA+ history and culture, or just make sure you see the highlights of what the Castro had to show you, Kathy and Cruisin' the Castro are the way to do it!

I was visiting SF from Australia and I thought I knew a decent amount about queer history but I learned so much more! Kathy is a wealth of knowledge and had so many stories to share. It was a moving, reflective, connecting tour but still with lots of humour and fun. I went on another tour in SF later that week and the tour guide spoke to me about how Kathy’s work inspired him to start doing his own tours! A must-see for queer people travelling through USA but I think anyone could benefit from learning on this tour. The Castro area is a great place to be and after the tour I stayed for a few hours exploring and eating 10/10!

Kathy was an amazing guide and this tour was fantastic. She was so knowledgeable and is very involved in the community so she could add a more personal perspective. She was kind, compassionate, intelligent, and funny. She was super generous with her time and made an effort to get to know everyone on the tour. Our teenager loved it as well and was super engaged and left feeling inspired. Truly a great experience and we’d do it again.
