Historical site that has a lot of different interesting facts. The views on the trails are very pretty. It's a fairly easy hike. It can get warm as the season moves into summer. Watch for snakes. Wear a life jacket if you go in the water don't be a statistic.

Great trail for the kids! My 3 year old loves it! Clean and safe. Not for strollers. Pay parking.

Great little gem with beautiful views of off of the hills and paths. Novice to medium paths, clean restroom. The only unfortunate thing was the historical bridge has been closed for a while

A beautiful place to chill, hike, and explore. Walk along the river and check out the covered bridge and old mill. Early in the morning you may see some deer, wild turkeys or vultures. Also, there are beautiful wildflowers.

It's one of my local favorites! Whether it's a short hike or a Stanislaus River launching spot, it has something for everyone. Swimming, rock climbing, hiking, beaches, fishing, kayaking, rafting. It's too hot to hike in the summer! Fall, winter, and spring are perfect! Watch for snakes! Recreate responsibly (take out your trash and make sure your children are wearing life jackets!! $10 parking fee.

What a beautiful place to enjoy some outdoor fun by the river. I came here before many years ago, and the old bridge was open to walk over. However, today's visit we found out the old bridge was closed. I didn't get to walk over it. I enjoyed being by the river. The fishing is now closed off due to the salmon run. We saw a hand full of salmon under the bridge. We had our 2 year old with us, so hiking wasn't on the list. There are a few trails to walk on. It was a beautiful visit. I will definitely be coming back.

Very beautiful peaceful place to visit. Lots of space for hiking and river watching. Lots and lots of birds and some ducks. It gets busy pretty quickly so I definitely recommend coming even before sunrise to beat the crowds if you like to hike without other people around. There is a bathroom and benches so a good place for families and fishing. The river is very high and fast right now so be aware of that. Parking costs $10 for the entire day.

Tons of trash everywhere though! Remember pack in, pack out! Stop polluting our rivers.

It's not too far of a drive for a nice day outdoors. Our family enjoyed a little nature walk exploring the area, some peaceful time by the river, and a nice picnic. Also, it's a good place for pictures! I'd love to try the river rafting there one day, it looks really fun.
