We reserved the Grand Kingdom tour about a month before our vacation in Arizona. All online paperwork went perfectly. A friendly live person answered the phone when I needed to ask a question. We showed up at the airport on April 21 as scheduled and everything there went like clockwork. You get a training film, a float pack, a comfortable waiting area, clean restrooms, free parking, and a nice gift shop. A computer program decides who goes into what helicopter and exactly where they sit, and a fun guy coordinates your exit to the aircraft. This company has its act together. All its people were friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. Our front-seats upgrade came through, and the amazing tour lasted what seemed like well over an hour. Our pilot was an ace and such a nice guy -- Alex showed us all the stunning sights in the eastern sector between the South Rim and the North Rim. Seeing the North Rim was a bonus we didn't expect. It is so
different from South Rim. Inside the canyon, Alex took us over long expanses of the Colorado River. Words really can't describe the experience or the views. We felt safe and in good hands during the entire tour. I hugged Alex and nearly wept after we landed back at the airport, it was such a moving and perfect experience. Thank you Alex! I highly recommend Papillon and their South Rim tour operation and its staff. And the Grand Kingdom tour is a standout!!!

My husband planned our helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon. It was FANTASTIC! No nerves being in helicopter for the 1st time & our pilot was calm, helpful, & knowledgeable. He was good to inform us of wildlife, mountain nicknames, & historical information. It was a sight to SEE. I highly recommend for ALL ages. 🙂

I hate to give only a 4 star review here, but while the flight and the service was amazing at some point they need to instruct the passengers that it isn’t ok to chatter the entire ride over the shared communication system. . It was so annoying to hear two school girls constantly talk to each other to the point you couldn’t hear the narration of the tour or in general the pilot. While it isn’t something the company did, it is something they could do.

Cannot recommend more highly the Papillon helicopter tour from Page to Horseshoe Bend and Tower Butte. We flew with pilot Albert on 30 January 2025. We were lucky to be the only passengers, and flew in the front seats. The views were amazing throughout, but especially while we were landed on top of the Butte.

This is one of the most amazing experiences I’ve had in my life!!! This is a must do if possible while visiting the Grand Canyon!! The views from the helicopter are amazing!!!
Everyone is very friendly and helpful and the pilot is very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. 100% would recommend!! Try to get front seats!! Well worth the extra $60.

We took the 45 minutes tour with Airbus Helicopter model, so the large windows's one plus an upgrade to get the front row seat. The experience was unique and the experience's pilot a must for this breath cutting tour, where we enjoy a 360 view with comment in our native language. We were delighted and very impress by the landscape including some snow on the top of the mountains which I was totally amazed by. Not expecting seeing snow here. I understand that it could be more difficult but a a descent into the gorges, between two cliffs, would have been a really impressive addition. check the daily lights to get the chance to be on the return with sunset. Love it a must to do before going for some hiking and or view points stops in the park. Thanks again

Fabulous trip, Martin B pilot, told us about the river and strata, named the features, very entertaining. Fun trip with music to calm the spirits and highlighting going over the rim. Whoopee!
